    Hi all

Using 2 Hetzner Storage Boxes for backups and to extend storage. Mounted both as CIFS, but as Hetzner offers several ways (webdav, cifs/samba, ssh, etc) I am wondering if cifs is the best way to mount them. What do you guys use/recommend and why?

    Thanks a lot

I think at the moment CIFS is pretty much the only way. SSHFS is not maintained anymore and WebDAVfs is also one of those flaky file systems. Ideally, they should support maybe NFS but they don't.

Thank you. That answered my question.

What do you mean it's not maintained anymore, can't find any information regarding that.

https://github.com/libfuse/sshfs#this-project-is-orphaned unless the development was taken elsewhere without mention?

Please follow the thread at https://forum.cloudron.io/topic/9333/hetzner-storage-box-cifs . Just trying to keep all this CIFS related stuff in one place.
