Any way to show which site is currently being used on the Dashboard?
-
Like most of my Feature Requests, I find myself about to do something and think, "I wish ..x.. was possible." In this case, I saw a notice that a Reboot is required. I host a number of individuals' WP sites on my Cloudron, and most of the time I would email or WhatsApp them to let them know if I was going to restart the Cloudron or something. The problem is they don't always answer right away. So I would delay, or more recently, hope they aren't doing something and hit that Update or Reboot button!
It would be so cool and useful if there was a way to show if an app, I suppose specifically a WP app, is being used, as in, an Admin is logged in, on the Dashboard. AND/OR a drop-down notice on all Cloudron apps to alert any users that the site is about to be unavailable, rather than only that blank-ish Cloudron app page.
Or does someone have a solution to this already and would like to share it!

Waiting for users to not use something will make you wait for ages.
Rather do the scheduled maintenance approach, define a date and time when it will happen and ignore them
A Cloudron option to display a banner with custom text, so people get warned would be good tho.
Maybe even an option to set all apps to redirect to a scheduled maintenance page.Your thoughts @scooke

when a server is rebooting, can't show a maintenance page

@BrutalBirdie Good point. Have the Cloudron updates been "regular" enough to schedule a notice around, though? I supposed one real issue is that as soon as I see the "Reboot" notification, or "Update available", I really just want to hit that button! One decent reason is that updated software is more secure, of course. I suppose I can stick with the email alerting them to when I'll do it, and not expect a response... and just do it.
EDIT: to get back to the original FR, would a tool like NetData display the sort of info I am asking about?
