Wanting to self-verify on nostr... which app should I use?
-
So, I've used an Umbrel instance to set up my own nostr relay (though I don't think this was strictly necessary), mined my keys to use nostr, and am posting here and there. There is an option to use NIP-05 verification, which is a way to link a human-readable address rather than the long code that nostr uses. Following https://nostr.how/en/guides/get-verified, it seems super easy to use my own Cloudron installation. My question is... which Cloudron app can I use to make the required
/.well-known/nostr.json
? I need to be able to get into the file system, I guess, and make both the directory and the file. Wordpress? Surfer? Something else?I need to also enable CORS to make this work.

@fbartels Thank you for this. I suppose other posts wherein @staff talk about enabling CORS for Surfer refers to a non-editable change. I had thought I could enable CORS. Anyway, it seems to work. So far only https://hamstr.to/settings has indicated that my NIP-05 is accepted, but not other nostr sites. That may be because one has to pay sats, I think, on these other sites. I'll keep going.
