@Sam_uk No FOSS, but worth a look from my research on similar: https://www.thundertix.com/
Do bear in mind that Eventbrite has somewhat of a network effect for promoting events in justification for it's higher fees though.

Open Source Eventbrite Alternatives | AlternativeTo
https://alternativeto.net/software/eventbrite/?license=opensourceThanks, I just discovered gath.io because of that and have created an app wishlist post here:
-
It’s one of the “pro” categories that is missing on Cloudron and we desperately need it.

I realise it's not everyone's cup of tea, but always worth looking at WordPress plugin options for things like this. Always amazes me how many things that ecosystem solves, plus all data integrated with the hosting website, to save from setting up separate sites and data synching for these sorts of things.

Bump.
Eventbrite are charging for free ticketed events with over 25 tickets, so there may be renewed interest in this.

@AartJansen nice find !

@AartJansen Looks good. Is there a separate request we can upvote?
-
@AartJansen looks great! (have you already) creat(ed) an App Wishlist post for it!(?)
-
@jdaviescoates No, I haven't. Actually I don't have a use case for it, I just stumbled across a reddit thread about it, and saw it was receiving positive attention.
Before I made a app wish here, I searched, found there was already an event app wish (this thread) and just thought it was worth mentioning to see if others with more interest, and deeper understanding of requirements also thought it was as good, or perhaps not what they wanted. -
It's a pity that after more than 6 years on the Wishlist, high ranked, one of the best and complete Open Source Event Ticketing software, while there is no single equivalent in the App Store ... it's still not available
