    Dashboard: https://my.cr1.dc7.io/

I'm recovering from complete DC failure. I Installed the nextcloud app and did a backup import, which was ok. But when it restarted, it goes into a loop with the following...

It is basically stuck and not able to move ahead or get access to the root for the install.

@stlpedro said in Unable to restore nextcloud:

Feb 22 19:19:22Exception: Updates between multiple major versions and downgrades are unsupported.
      Feb 22 19:19:22Update failed

This seems to be the relevant bit from the logs.

You may need to install an older version then restore.

You can do that by specifying the older version from the URL bar as you're viewing the nextcloud app to install in the App store.

As @robi said, make sure the nextcloud app insteance version matches the backup you are restoring to. https://git.cloudron.io/cloudron/nextcloud-app/-/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md?ref_type=heads might help to find the correct package version, if you only know the wanted Nextcloud version.
