    Hello,

What could be causing this issue?

I'm attempting to use a namecheap domain and and a vultr instance.

Sometimes DNS takes a long time to fully propagate. In order to obtain SSL certificates, Cloudron has to wait for the DNS record (my.domain.com) to resolve correctly to the server's IP before proceeding during setup.

@Felix You can check host my.domain.com on your laptop. Does it give the right IP? If Cloudron is still in the setup page, you can just systemctl restart box on the server and the setup page will come back up.

It's been 24 hours and nothing.

    my.domain.com says:

server IP address could not be found.

I will try systemctl restart box and trying again. When you guys say a long time, do you mean like days? 😵

Have you configured your domain name to point at the IP?

@Felix Are you using Cloudron's namecheap integration? i.e you choose namecheap as the provider in the initial DNS setup screen?

Can you send us the logs to support@cloudron.io? The log is at /home/yellowtent/platformdata/logs/box.log.
