Pritunl VPN

Pritunl VPN Server is a Enterprise Distributed OpenVPN, IPsec and WireGuard Server.
-
It's built on OpenVPN, but it's way better.

@austinsonger The client looks neat too: https://client.pritunl.com
Currently I use Viscosity and the Wireguard native app.

I am strongly against replacing the server in the current OpenVPN app.
However, it totally makes sense as a new, separate, app.

If I remember well, the goal of Cloudron Teams is to offer 2-3 alternatives per type of application which currently for Virtual Network only OpenVPN is offer, this leave space for Pritunl and ZeroTier

This is also a Tailscale alternative

Also likely a good use case for Cloudron Multiserver!

Pritunl Zero

Hey everyone! Seems like it already dockerized a couple of days ago. Just need to adopt for Cloudron.

@austinsonger Thanks for this suggestion, which is clearly very popular here.
Might supporting Pritunl on Cloudron have the additional benefit of selling Cloudron?
Many people these days want to have a VPN and they are willing to pay for one. If Cloudron provided Pritunl, might Cloudron be able to move into the very large VPN market with a huge advantage: not only would you be able would your purchase get you going with a VPN, it would also enable you to use a host of other applications supported by Cloudron?
I think a lot of VPN companies would struggle to compete. It would be sure to generate some discussion and raise public awareness of Cloudron's amazing offering.

@loudlemur Cloudron already offers a VPN : OpenVPN
@mehdi Kinda CPU intense and slow though, when comparing to Wireguard at-least.

I just pointed out that we should add this as a new app, not "Switch out OpenVPN Server" as the thread title says
