    Hello Team,

we do run our Cloudron on a Hetzner cloud server and are about to restructure our infrastructure in order to focus more on applications managed by Cloudron.

Currently the operating system in use is Ubuntu 16.04.5 LTS. According to the most recent installation instructions it is recommended to use Ubuntu Bionic 18.04 x64 on a fresh installation instead.

Is it worth it to migrate our setup to Ubuntu Bionic before proceeding to work on our infrastructure setup? Are there any relevant advantages that would benefit us?

    Kind regards

Unless there is time-pressure now, it might make sense to wait until Cloudron officially supports Ubuntu 20 to do the migration. It mostly works and the next version will have some support added already so we can test this better. Hopefully the version after the next version of Cloudron then will have official support.

Thank you very much for your input. There's no time pressure right now. I'd rather wait then as you suggested.

When talking about migration, you think about a new server and just restore from backup right?
