Looks like a much better open-source alternative to Facebook Pages - good find!

@ei8fdb I didn't realize this before (looks like I might not have read your original post entirely 😅...) but this is the software that runs dev.to, very cool! I could see this as a great addition to Cloudron.

@Sam_uk I know you've already gone down the HumHub route but check this out too 🙂

I use Cloudron with Gandi & Hetzner

@ei8fdb sure looks good, but I notice that they state Fedora CoreOS, running on the Stable stream as a requirement. I think usually Cloudron runs on Ubuntu, so not sure if that causes a packaging problem. Or maybe they just haven't tested it fully on Ubuntu and it's not a requirement strictly.

@timconsidine Not seeing that Fedora mention any more?

Content landing pages look very much like medium.com - so also an open-source alternative to Medium?

dev.to is the biggest and best-known site running on it, and likely contributing to it given the nature of the community.

It looks like they shuffled things around since the last reply to this topic. They've moved it over to a new repo:

                    https://github.com/forem/selfhost#requirements

I agree, this is a great find and would be an awesome addition to Cloudron.

Although "Fedora CoreOS, running on the Stable stream" is still listed as a requirement there 🤔
