      Hello everyone.

I'm currently experiencing an issue with Cloudron, I've installed a fresh LAMP Stack, uploaded WHMCS and am trying to set it up. I'm getting the following error:

Site error: the ionCube PHP Loader needs to be installed. This is a widely used PHP extension for running ionCube protected PHP code, website security and malware blocking. Please visit get-loader.ioncube.com for install assistance.

Is someone able to assist me with enabling ionCube?

      Regards.

@Trankery I also noticed that IonCube seems to be available for PHP 7.x but not for PHP 8.x in LAMP....

@Trankery as @necrevistonnezr said, switch to PHP 7.4 for ionCube support.

Installing this on Cloudron is a sin, you will burn in hell. As you can see Cloudron does not like it... 😛

@girish After doing so, the page stays completely blank. No errors. Any ideas?

@Trankery see https://docs.whmcs.com/System_Environment_Guide#PHP - it doesn't even support php 8 it seems, anyway.

                Empty caches?

@Trankery Did you check if it switched to PHP 7.4 correctly ? You can put a page with phpinfo and it will show the version and also that ioncube is indeed activated.
