App won't Update/Stop/Restart

During an update of my apps (I like to update them manually), one of the apps went into a 'queued' state and won't come out of the state. Event log for the app shows it performed the action (in this case stop), but the dashboard still shows 'stopping.' Even rebooted the server to try and clear it.
Tried recovery mode, restart, etc. Retry Task is greyed out. (shrug)

is it new?
what snippet of logs shows why it's not completing the process?
check if services are all green?
disk space? -
It's Invoice Ninja, but I don't think it's related to something in the app. I think the container is just in a funky state.
App continues to run in the background and is accessible.

@doodlemania2 if that is the case, then a restore and upgrade should complete.

@doodlemania2 it happen to me yesterday. Are you current use S3 storage for backup?
If so make sure you disable delete retention policy now I can update or do anything on my side now.

i wonder if there's a way in box to make it stop what it is trying to do (did restart server once)
certain tasks after some timeout will display a cancel task (x) button for the app progress line that seems stuck. Just have to wait to see it.

was able to resolve by continually toggling recovery mode back and forth like 10 times... shrug

@doodlemania2 wow, glad something worked.
Hopefuly @staff can find something in the error handling code.

@doodlemania2 Can you ping us on support@ if you hit this state again? Usually a cancel button appears after 2 mins of the task running without finishing.
