@marcusquinn on the contrary, imho the Snoop Forms demo is way better than anything released to date by OhMyForm 😛

@jdaviescoates OK, looks like it works, and has more things planned. Be great to have both. Someone has to do that though, so perhaps they will have sponsorship value to someone to help along.

This has been renamed to Formbricks and seems close to a 1.0 version.

I would love this! FYI. ohMyForm etc are great but have a pretty bad UI compared to FormBuilder.

The value of this whole thing is very pretty- 1 question at a time UI.

I feel the name "Forms" is a little misleading, since it seems to only do one specific type of simplified feedback/survey type form. Nice to have, but nowhere near what Wordpress plugins can do for forms.

Formbricks productizes best practices for qualitative in-app user discovery. Use micro-surveys to target the right users at the right time without making surveys annoying.

recently I discovered PostHog which also propose micro-survey to target the right users.
                      PostHog is Open Source too

I really don't think much of Formbricks. It feels like things like this should just be WordPress plugins.

It's a lot more than that these days:

I opted to give the Link & email surveys a go (this is using the free hosted version):

These are the question types it has:

TBH this looks like a very powerful platform for all sorts of forms. Methinks it's way better and more versatile that one could achieve with any WP plugins 🙂

It'd be fantastic to have this on Cloudron!

@jdaviescoates Fluent Forms + Fluent Booking could do that, but I appreciate not everyone wants to use WordPress.

FormBricks was initially requested right at the start of its development, at v0.1.0

There has been tons of work since then. It is currently on v2.5.3:

The formbricks package is basically done. The previous version works well, however the latest version requires pgvector extension now which we currently do not ship. We will investigate how to hopefully add support for that only then we can publish the package. For curious people the packaging code is at https://git.cloudron.io/cloudron/formbricks-app

Since we packaged it, they released a new version 3.0 which removed SSO from the community version. See https://github.com/formbricks/formbricks/releases/tag/v3.0.0 and https://formbricks.com/docs/self-hosting/configuration#o-auth-configuration . Not really sure how much enterprise license costs and if it matches Cloudron's user base.

@girish Perhaps they'd be willing to find a way to keep it to get the Cloudron user base and 3-click install.

                                        I've just emailed them saying:

                                        Dear FormBricks team,

I was disappointed to learn that just as FormBricks was about to become self-hostable for users like me (those who rely on the excellent Cloudron software to simplify self-hosting), OpenID Connect has been removed from the free community edition. I came across this update in the Cloudron forum: https://forum.cloudron.io/post/99379

OpenID Connect is a crucial feature for seamless single sign-on (SSO), and its removal from the community edition feels like a step back. Many apps on Cloudron now include SSO support, and it would be a shame for the community to have access to FormBricks without this capability we've come to depend on.

As one user on the Cloudron forum noted, retaining OpenID Connect in the community edition could help FormBricks attract the Cloudron user base, who value its 3-click install and ease of use. This seems like a great opportunity to broaden FormBricks' adoption while supporting a community that thrives on self-hostable solutions.

Would you please reconsider keeping OpenID Connect in the free community edition? I believe it would significantly benefit users and maintain FormBricks' appeal as a self-hostable solution.

Thank you for considering this request. I look forward to your thoughts.

                                        Warm regards,

                                        Josef

I use Cloudron with Gandi & Hetzner
