Evernote alternative

What do you think is the best Evernote alternative that Cloudron offers?
I have only had bad experiences with Nextcloud updates, so I would rather not use that. It would also be nice if I could share the documents with a team, but it's not a must-have. -
There's always the awesome selfhosted list to dig in further - https://github.com/awesome-selfhosted/awesome-selfhosted#note-taking--editors

I've been happy with trilium for personal use.
@ruihildt what do you do about mobile client like on a phone ?
-
@timconsidine I don't use it much on mobile. But otherwise, pin it and use it as a webapp. (I'm also using the webapp on desktop actually through Ferdium)

@bushido for Joplin, browser extensions are also likely the most similar to Evernote's.
-
@bushido Odoo Community Edition has a Notes module:

Much work on supporting Odoo (and possibly flectra) has already taken place and there is an App Request for this powerful tool.

@bushido There's apparently a PDF reader, but I've not used it.
There's also a browser extension: https://github.com/zadam/trilium/wiki/Web-clipper

Thanks everyone for your hints. My question was for an Evernote alternative that Cloudron offers

@bushido I've been using Joplin (install the client on your device/s and then synch via the Joplin server available on Cloudron) as a replacement for Evernote for personal and work usage for the past 1 year and it is the closest alternative for me. The only area is lacks in comparison to Evernote is in note sharing, but it works well.

@bushido LogSeq is worth a look too, and a good example of FOSS with an Open Collective for contributions.

Thanks. Does it handle PDF files?
