Hello! I just want to know if any of you are using Sendgrid for outbound emails for a Mailing List using Cloudron.

Currently zero problem with sending an email to all of the people in the Mailing List using our Authenticated Domain (in Sendgrid), but when one person on the Mailing List want to send an email to the list, it bounces with the message

Failure Reason: Error: 550 The from address does not match a verified Sender Identity. Mail cannot be sent until this error is resolved. Visit https://sendgrid.com/docs/for-developers/sending-email/sender-identity/ to see the Sender Identity requirements

So, for my understanding I will need to authenticate every one of them on Sendgrid, but I wonder if there’s any other way that’s less painful and less intrusive data wise for having a working mailing list in Cloudron.

    Thanks!

I’m running into this issue as well. Did you ever find a solution?

I totally forgot about this until this message. I probably moved myself away from using this feat

Usually in email providers, there are two kinds of setups - identity based setup (to set up relaying a single email address) or a domain based setup ( to set up relaying for the entier domain). You have to set up domain based setup. This is because each app on Cloudron sends email with potentially a different email address (in the username portion).
