Any new tries here to get this running on cloudron? I am willing to pay, if it doesn't cost an arm & a leg...

@RazielKanos ask an APPDEV to package it, or @Kubernetes for an unofficial easy install.

Still think this would be a high-value app. Latest updates are great. Solid UX. Encrypted. Decentralised. What's not to like?

Any updated on this?

So basically, this would need the any-sync-node?

@andreasdueren well, we have this: https://github.com/anyproto/any-sync-dockercompose
And here are the docs on how to do it: https://doc.anytype.io/anytype-docs/data-and-security/self-hosting/self-hosted / https://tech.anytype.io/how-to/self-hosting
So basically docker is already available, which would make it quite easy to get it to cloudron, as far my understanding goes. -

I've scheduled myself to ask for an update 2 months from now.

Good pattern spotting!

I just learned about https://github.com/grishy/any-sync-bundle/ it is a repackaged server to make self hosting the sync server easier.
This example lists the environment variables that it needs to have set for external redis and mongodb:
