Final solution: Ventoy + Clonezilla + Anker USB Hub = Tested server restore from USB image!

Future solution(s): Terraform (cattle ranching sounds like fun), NetBoot.xyz, Clonezilla with restore images stored on Amazon S3.

That is actually a simple email newsletter platform, and afaics there's no automation, not even an autoresponder function, yet, I guess. Looks interesting though. And it installs with Docker so it should be ready to be packaged for Cloudron, however it's very basic. Not even comparable with ListMonk already...

@girish Thanks for the suggestion. Sounds like I will need to pursue this idea on an app by app basis, rather than signing on as a Cloudron user. If I am successful, I will share the results so that others can benefit as well.

@bmann Yeah, in that case, I'd say just use a provider that allows you to buy extra storage inexpensively and mount it as a volume. BuyVM is the one that comes to mind honestly.

You can also use CIFS or NFS, but I don't know how well I'd trust them as primary storage for an app.

Also, as said, some apps support external S3 (although that limits your capability to fully encapsulate your backups).
