@nebulon But than why not simply bring up pufferpanel and kick off that stupid standalone-gameserverapps? 1 App that can handle a lot is way better than many gameserverapps that arent good. If you really think vps is good for gameservers... in first play they are gameservers and they comsume a lot of power so its more suitable to give them all the power possible. and if cloudron has a larger userbase you can get more money and more money means more people and so on. but let the project behind his real possibilitys dont bring stuff up. ^^

I've been running Lokinet for some period of time. Love it for all the reasons mentioned by others. I think it might be as simple as binding CR to the network device created by Lokinet. I've always wanted to try it, but been too scared

@fbartels Maybe on the way though: https://docs.activitywatch.net/en/latest/features/syncing.html This kind person seems to have shared their solution: https://wsdookadr.github.io/posts/p6/ Also, I rather like this alternative for personal use: https://forum.cloudron.io/topic/8053/tockler-local-private-personal-time-tracking-app-for-mac-linux-windows And Cattr for teams seems to still be maturing, as a quick way for teams to hate management https://forum.cloudron.io/topic/2872/cattr-time-tracking

We will be very glad to see Chatterbox for Matrix/Element in Cloudron. Please add this feature. Live Chat in Rocket.Chat leaves much to be desired.

After having some devices which can work in a home automation way, I started to look into openhab over the weekend. I took some inspiration from @vladimir-d 's initial package and got the app in a mostly working state now at https://git.cloudron.io/cloudron/openhab-app Do we have any openhab users here, who could maybe raise their requirements so we can see how to get those into the package?

The best way to install "developer" apps is to just create a Dockerfile, add whatever packages you want and install it in Cloudron. Tutorial here - https://docs.cloudron.io/packaging/tutorial/ . It's really easy if you know Docker and also it keeps things portable should you move out of Cloudron or any PaaS for that matter.

@girish After thinking about this a bit more, it seems the optimal solution for "developer apps" isn't a published app, but some git repos of a few starter custom apps (dockerfile + ldap login + config instructions for a database if needed) specifically. I know all the published cloudron app repos can be viewed (as linked in the packaging tutorial). Perhaps that is sufficient. I'm building what is effectively a cloudron mashup (tying multiple apps together, LDAP, + private dns so API calls are local). I'll provide further feedback if the current tutorial materials seem insufficient.
