@jdaviescoates This looks excellent! I hope we can support it on Cloudron. Non-Self-hosted text, image, audio and video hosting is all being censored. A key feature of these tools should be that they support federation/distributed content, so that people who want to support an image or text or whatever, are able to easily click and have that content provided by their own instance.

@robi Quite frankly man this is an amazing find! I already envision Cloudron becoming the 'bridge' between the actual and the New Internet if that gets implemented on the platform. What I've found quite interesting and cool is the scripting language is amazingly easy to understand and learn. Much more easy than the PERL scripting in which most of the 'apps' were created with in the first years of the Conquer of the Internet. For instance, at that time apps were called PERL scripts or simply scripts. Still they were Open Source and extremely powerful even just before the beginning of the 21st century. Discovering this reminds much of how the Internet was cool and free because people who were getting on it were cool because they had more freedom to express themselves using freely the most cutting edge technology that's freely available. While it sounded somewhat a 'good thing' to bring the world together with social media, imho I strongly believe that web 2.0 has killed the Internet of the people for the people. This is the cloudron forum, in this context I don't really care that it's an open source and cross platform local application -- that's great, but it doesn't help me run the cloud-dependent bits myself.
