On could run this in an existing Cloudron App by adding the ipfs binaries and cloning the repo until it's packaged.

@loudlemur It's fine the thread can remain, I will lock it. We already have redash (which is being updated to 10) and grafana as you pointed out.

@jeau This is a wonderful suggestion, @jeau I certainly hope RAWGraphs is supported on Cloudron.

Discourse is great for forum software.
    Flarum is an alternative solution.

    @fbartels
true obviously EAS is EOL, not death.
But I see more future and open standards/ease of use in jmap than in EAS.
I imagine that cloudron could build a webmail and calendar front end with jmap proxy with the compatibility to all current calendar and contact apps on the store because jmap can just be a proxy it doesn't need to be integrated into the mail server.
Apache James complete mail stack use it as a proxy is not integrated directly into the mail server, it acts as a gateway from the internal network that speaks in IMAP and external that use rest API.

Jmap is just been a standard for 2 years or so, and it's used by big providers for their proprietary webmail, and it's easy to develop UI on top of it, because it's just rest API.
there is a really good comment on rainloop issue for supporting jmap

Neat! This would allow for researching databreaches, your husbands sidepiece phone number, info on yourself, and so much more.

What a well deserved tool to be added to cloudron.

I'd like this too, but please search before posting, there is already a App Wishlist post for this:

@atridad thank you for your work on this.
Installed as a custom app very sweetly (I amended the latest version pulled down to 2.1.0)

To anyone keen to use this, it is possible as a custom app pending official addition to the store.

@fbartels If it's not already familiar, I'm finding remotix.com useful to solve some of these feature needs. Obvs not all, bit also looking into opsi.org.

@robi said in webhook - lightweight incoming webhook server to run shell commands:

why not use N8N instead? much more featureful and UI.

    I ran up a quick n8n webhook
Easier than I thought and works well.
The only thing I really understand what to do with webhook payload in a n8n workflow is put it in a database or Baserow (which I have on cloudron) or now also SeaTable (which I have on Caprover).

Not sure n8n is up to the scripting of how the payload needs to be parsed and manipulated and disposed of. But maybe the function node is adequate.

Need to think it through and make a plan.

At least I have 2 options now, n8n and @fbartels' webhook app.
    Thanks again.

@ruihildt you're right, I only saw the website post and added github link later.

@jdaviescoates Thanks, yes, much better option. Need something simple.

AFAIK @robi is correct, you’re rewarded for basically hosting a node. I have a node setup and have transitioned most of my searches over to Presearch. I’m addition to Node Rewards, you also get around 0.10 PRE per search up to 10/day. It would be pretty awesome for be able to setup a node in Cloudron!

@ericdrgn said in Maubot (Matrix) - Bots:

do you have any thoughts or attempts at this yourself?

Yes. I currently run Maubot in my LAN (Dockerized on a Pi), not on a VPS. It works quite well. As it's just another Matrix client there's no need for Maubot itself to be publicly accessible.

Since I manage to run it locally I've no real incentive to try and get it to run on Cloudron infrastructure.
