@timconsidine said in QubesOS: This is definitely drifting in to a Discuss topic. Mostly I am unclear why one would want an "app" which behaves like a VM. This was covered in the topic around Sysbox from Nestybox.

https://spork.sh/ also comes from the same project Spork is a command-line tool for peer-to-peer sockets created by the people behind Beaker Browser and part of the new Atek Cloud project. Self host your life! How does it work? Spork is all about creating forward and reverse proxies between traditional sockets and p2p sockets. Sockets are identified by a public key and connect using a Distributed Hash Table (DHT). Connections are end-to-end encrypted using the NOISE framework. Useful for P2P Multi Cloudron

@timconsidine said in Sakai: @loudlemur admirable tool, but java and tomcat ? i thought that was so last century literally maybe great app but yuk technically Try openEdX Haha! This is very funny. Actually, when I remember checking Sakai last, it actually was almost last millenium, and at the time was too bleeding edge to be used! I had hopes for it, and thought it must by now still be a great candidate. (It ticked all the boxes way back then, almost.) I will have to look at some of these LMSs again sometime soon, but there is a lot more to do!

On could run this in an existing Cloudron App by adding the ipfs binaries and cloning the repo until it's packaged.
