Implement a Down for Maintenance screen

@d19dotca Right, https://docs.cloudron.io/branding/#custom-pages . I wasn't clear that I was referring to not having a UI to set the page without having to SSH.
I guess maybe @marcusquinn wants more like a "Turn on maintenance mode" button in the old cloudron while he migrates to the new location or equivalent ? Of course a hack is to put a surfer page in that location while the migration happens
@girish yup, exactly. Tick-box sys-admin makes me happy
. I think a logo, a support email and a link field (that we'd use to point to a separate status updates URL) would be awesome. It just reassures people we know we're down and working on it, otherwise it just looks like we went bust

Is this more of a default setting for every cloudron, or a feature checkbox with a url box you fill in with the site/page to redirect to when things are down?

@robi I think common platform settings and per-app boolean.
@marcusquinn For Cloudrons that host multiple domains and companies, those would be better differentiated per App/group.

What about a "Turn on maitenance mode" like @girish suggested, but you'd be able to specify which page from the
/home/yellowtent/boxdata/custom_pagesyou want displayed. This would allow a lot more flexibility and even let you have app-specific maintenance pages that you made beforehand. -

Should this maintenance mode only be the dashboard or dashboard and all apps? -
@james I'd say both. Either way, the best way to explain this need's the following:
Having the ability to set, from a list, which page to display when an app is down/off/in maintenance.

This can be used to redirect traffic from a downed app to a cloned/synced app acting like a high availability feature.
