@jdaviescoates sorry for the late response I've not seen this until now.
As I said, I can confirm it works with SUB-directories, but that is not the same as sub-DOMAINS. It's the latter that requires the needed TWEAK because of the internal DNS management in CR

when cloudron will support multi subdomain for the same deployed app, it will worth to deploy an unmanaged WordPress to use the multisite advantage with multi-subdomain strategy which would allow you to use fully qualified domain name (without subdomain) such as
under the same wordpress instance.
But for now, my understanding of cloudron with a multi subdomain wordpress is only
is possible

Sounds like it'd save some time if there were a separate WP multisite App with these options?

@Lonk said in Wordpress Multsite:
@girish So if I leave the domain empty I can set up top level domains that are not redirects? Or did I misread your comment?
Correct, if you leave the location field empty, then the top level domain will not be a redirect.

@girish Okay, to clarify (because I still believe I may be misunderstanding), leaving the location field
empty
(null, blank), every "Redirection" I add in the Cloudron Redirection App settings will actually make Cloudron behave as ifx
domain is the top level domain for that particular app and there can be multiple? -
Oh, gotcha @mehdi just made it clear that only one top level domain is allowed with this method and in testing, that is true. So I added a Feature Request for Domain Aliases on Cloudron. WP Multisite won't be the only app that benefits this. Every control panel allows for domain aliases for different reasons and I think this is an important feature.
