Penpot - Design Freedom for Teams

Cloudron should offer one month free for each app packaged
I think the work involved in packaging has significantly more value than $15/30 so potential quality problems aside I'm not sure how much of an incentive that'd be.
Easier to just use referral codes to refer a few people (I've not had to pay anything for my Cloudron for a while because I've referred so many people! )

@nj wonderful! This makes me very happy! If you'd like some help testing I'm very happy to.
Btw at our Open Source Design devroom at Fosdem this year Clara from Penpot will be talking about how they gather and implement user feedback.

I will be attempting to package this app this weekend. I will post updates in this thread.
Are we there yet?
Not yet. Had to re-package Keycloak to support the latest version that broke everything. I'm into penpot rn.

@nj May I humbly ask that env variables to enable and disable both registration and the Demo User be included please? I've been trying this out on Caprover, and this is an ongoing request on that platform. So far we can turn off Registration, but the Demo User option remains. Yikes. Thank you again!

would be a wonderful addition to Taiga, everything required for development in one package!

@nj Did you ever get any further with this?

Since the news on Adobe purchasing Figma, there seems to have been a significant movement of people looking for an alternative, and sub-set looking for an open-source alternative:
Getting Penpot into the Cloudron App Store would be a big win right now.
-
@marcusquinn I agree. For many users Penpot seems like an excellent alternative to Figma, particularly because Adobe purchased Figma back in September 2022.
-
@marcusquinn At the moment I use Caprover because it already has Penpot. If I could move my work to my Cloudron that would be super.
