    Hi there,

    is it possible to install an (custom) App directly from Cloudron Server cli?

      I am not sure if this is still the case, but at least some years ago it was not recommend to install the cloudron-cli on the server itself. But that may have changed (or I misremember). But you could still easily run it from a one off docker container. Or you could use some form of ci to do the installation for you.

        There is no CLI to install apps directly on the server. And it's best not install cloudron-cli on the server. The nodejs required by the platform and cli are not co-ordinated. And installing cli on the server might break cloudron installation. The CLI also brings in all sorts of node modules which are not vetted for security of the server.

          Solution is to install the Cloudron CLI in a container, LAMP App or Surfer App work well.
