It is fine if is only a CRM. Sales is its own universe unless you have physical production and or goods.

OK, and what do you need that EspoCRM does not provide? Or do you have an application in mind?

I understand that some don't like the EspoCRM UI, if they're used to something like Hubspot. But funtionality is what's needed. At least for standard CRM.

I am a certified Salesforce architect, so I have played with the priciest in a large org setting where we had billions in revenue. I have also used Odoo's CRM for tiny beer-money projects and even Vtiger which is still around. I'd say Odoo for very straight forward sales, is adequate. The goal is to give a great overview of the sales pipeline and to have a way to quantitatively summarize won and lost opportunities.

I am now finding that Baserow has pretty great templates out of the box, and I think I can make it work as such. I'm also sure the integrations using n8n would be a breeze.

@makemrproper Your use cases and example integrations people can implement too.

I have not had the time to test the options but the features I am on the lookout for is

                  1. a way to quickly input prospects or client information pulling from an email or a website or from professional network or social media.
                  2. Integration smartphone call activity, sms messages, calendar, email
                  3. Email integration (email history when viewing contact)
                  4. Contact/Client Document Sharing and collaboration portal.
I had a post abotu a web clipper for a crm here:
                  5. Locally installed app for working without good internet access.

It is such a great value add when I can provide business support systems for my company. Anything such as a CRM, timesheets with Kimai, n8n workflows and integration, baserow and so on.
I think Cloudron should have a decent CRM application available.
Dolibarr and EspoCRM which indeed are packaged and published Cloudron apps, are not good enough in my view.
I am hoping for more business support systems on here, it would increase Cloudron's value for my businesses and I am very sure others would agree.

                    Some suggestions for CRMs: https://www.forbes.com/advisor/business/software/best-open-source-crm/

Sadly - I understand that ErpNext (discussion: https://forum.cloudron.io/topic/1228/erpnext-cost-effective-erp-solution/105 ) and Odoo (discussion: https://forum.cloudron.io/post/81451 ) are considered too large apps to be hosted for Cloudron. Both fit the bill perfectly.

@zonzonzon I use EspoCRM and like it.
TBH I hate CRM's generally and EspoCRM works for me.

@zonzonzon It's the best FOSS you'll find. Don't know your other experience, but you can pretty much get Espo to do anything you please. If you need accounting done for you, though, Odoo is also a consideration, and their SaaS pricing ain't too bad for what you get.
