+1 also take my upvote for Grist. A solid alternative to Nocodb.

OMG, Grist looks amazing!! It looks like it shows referenced (aka linked) data values rather than just "2 linked values" as Nocodb does. And it comes with granular access rules. And it supports most Excel functions?? 😍 I would like to hereby add ten votes. 🙂

Yes, definitely interesting. Maybe finally a feasible replacement for some google sheets of mine...

I took a closer look at and tested the free version of Getgrist today, and I found it to be significantly more advanced than BaseRow and NoboDB. It offers features such as duplicate detection, complex formulas, access rules, and conditional formatting, all within the free version. It is also noticeably faster. I can't wait to make the switch and hope to see it on Cloudron soon.

Are there any concrete plans to package Grist for Cloudron?

Out of curiosity what constitutes an app being selected or not? 27 upvotes (at time of writing), a lot of engagement and views, clearly a very good fit for the Cloudron platform (which already has Baserow, Nocodb, Directus etc).. When a platform already has Docker support does that make it more or less difficult to get it onto Cloudron? I would assume it is easier?

@umnz - I'm new here, but one thing that helps is someone wanting it enough to follow the guide to package it up, confirm it works, and notify the dev team. https://docs.cloudron.io/packaging/tutorial/ .

But, as someone who has packaged up an app that is waiting for attention I'd be a bit (selfishly) upset to see yet another "no code database" package on Cloudron before mine was selected.

@timconsidine Grist is miles above Noco and Baserow. I'd love to see it on Cloudron.

Eventhough Grist access is quite slow from South East Asia region, not as fast as Noco

@firmansi And I guess that would get solved if you ran your instance on a more local server...one more reason for Grist on Cloudron 🙏
