Solved App Store > New Apps missing

Are all unstable apps supposed to be listed in the New Apps catalog filter/
Calibre and Dolibarr for example are not, yet are still unstable in All list.
Why?
-
Excellent observation as always
Strange, that Calibre and Dolibarr are not in New Apps. And for some reason PHP 7.4 is listed there.
-
Some sort of filter limit?
It's always a set number of apps

@robi Looking more closely, the code is correct and so is the display. The values in the database are incorrect because the timestamps are based on when we started working on them as opposed to when we actually announced it on the forum/public. In addition, because of a quirk if we "modify" some meta data of an app, the timestamp gets updated.... This results in some old apps popping up as new (like the lamp one).
I guess I will fix the database by hand

Fudged some DB values
-
@girish to keep this in sync down the road, would it make sense to set up another DB column with tags?
would make DB requests smaller and require less filtering, but more numerous if browsing around.
-
I think the problem is back again @girish
-
Fine for me on 3 different Cloudron installations.
EDIT: Oh okay got it ^^
-
@subven Thanks for proving my point.
-
Out of the loop. What is wrong in @subven's screenshot ?
-
@girish Calibre Web is missing and only 10 apps? there used to be more.
-
@robi I think the new apps only shows the latest 10 apps. Calibre was actually published as unstable back in Oct and now got replaced by transmission.
-
@girish Side note: can we make the GUI show 12 apps instead of 10? When it's generally 3 or 4 columns, 10 just seems like an odd number to use for displaying the apps on that page. Hopefully that makes sense.
Just a side thing though, no worries.

@d19dotca good point. For aesthetics
-
@d19dotca that was going to be my next suggestion, thanks for chiming in!

@d19dotca said in App Store > New Apps missing:

I think this suggestion may have been lost @girish as I'm still seeing 10 new apps whereas 12 would look much nicer

@jdaviescoates It's fixed in 6.1, yes.
