@molinaire and the backups?
-
@brutalbirdie backups gone too.

@molinaire said in Apps disapeared:
I get this error message when accessing the IP:
You cannot access the dashboard by IP after installing apps. Can you try accessing via
https://my.domain.com
? -
https://my.www.greghudson.co.uk/#/apps just one day stopped working. Fine one day gone the next. Page wont load so cant access backups on either wordpress or nextcloud. what do you reccomend? Honestly I havent deleted them.
-
@nebulon No extra firewall. Also although I could run Wordpress & Nextcloud fine & I could once see them from the app page, they never showed up on the main page https://www.cloudron.io/console.html#/userprofile?view=subscriptions. Shall I try reinstall from scratch

@molinaire maybe there is some misunderstanding, apps will not show up at the portal in cloudron.io there only the server as such will show. Your Cloudron will have a dashboard at https://my.www.greghudson.co.uk/#/apps however that whole server at least on the IP this domain resolves to seems to be down. Can you check with your VPS provider to see if the IP is indeed 86.180.81.68 ?

Your nameservers are Cloudflare... I'm not enough of a DNS guru to know if this might mean something... Could a change in DNS have affected the visibility of the Cloudron and it's apps (the set up for Cloudflare looks convulated to me, meaning lots of chances for a wrong setting to kick in)? I've had weird, unexpected, sudden DNS problems myself before, "it shouldn't happen" type scenarios, but it did.
I notice too that your Dashboard domain is my.www.example.com. The docs recommend just my.example.com, but again, I'm not sure how this could mess things ups.
How are you checking your backups? I guess those are on an external system?
Likes the others said, sounds like a combo of VPS, and DNS. Don't give up!

@molinaire did you get this sorted out? If not, I think maybe it's best sorted out by writing to us at support@cloudron.io
