Great @ChupaRain Is there something our devs should know for the next release so they can prep this package up 100% correctly for you and avoid any legwork on your side? If so please pm me and I can relate it over. So does this mean the script will be included soon publicly in Cloudtron?

Thanks @timconsidine . Also, we have just released a major update, SeoToaster on top of being a CMS/CART/CRM with possibility for ERP extension, now also offers a full-fledged tablet and phone ready Point of Sale system. It's basically like Shopify, just better with integrated barcode scanner, tap to pay, ai product description intake and competition price check, multishop support with continuous barcode scanning checkout mode, and on-the-road quick sale support. It uses Stripe as processor. https://stripe.partners/directory/seosamba-pos - https://www.seotoaster.com/pos . The self hosting package version supporting the POS will be released shortly. Completely free to use in 2026.

@robi Well, we use Stripe in the back/end processing for the in-person operations and have no plans to support PP for the POS operations at this juncture. Now, you could use any of the other gateways in place, or in conjunction with Stripe for the web store. That already works. The list of payment gateways, that includes Paypal which ships also with the core, can be found here: https://www.seotoaster.com/website-plugins-marketplace.html. For the hardware you can use either the phone to take contactless payment or one of the basic Stripe readers like https://stripe.com/terminal/m2 if you use an Ipad or Android tablet. The v3.12.0 package supporting the POS will be released next week and the team is preparing the Cloudtron version of that package for you as I'm writing these words.

I'm not sure of what's your reason for setting back to inlcude Paypal as payment processor, it's the premier online payment system and MANY MANY people use it as their online payment main system as they DO NOT HAVE a Credit Card, and using Paypal is there ONLY meaning to buying about anything online. By neglecting to add Paypal that much you're at the same time closing a HUGE market access to your app user, which also may put your app aside for that very reason. Think again

@micmc you make valid points
My scenario : I refuse to use Paypal, as a vendor and as a customer, because some (many now) years go, I had a problem with Paypal because I received a large payment into my account which was a lot bigger than I normally did, and came from a "dodgy" country, they blocked my account and access to funds. Nearly lost £7k. But I appreciate that's maybe a personal beef, not a strategic analysis.
There are many who are totally content (blissfully ignorant as to the dangers of using Paypal, I would say), so system providers need to take it into account, as you say.
I guess maybe there's an element of selfhost vs HateBigMonopolisticTech in the decision ?

I mean, along the years one have stop counting the amount of horror story the same kind in the like of yours.
That said, I believe that it should be a matter of choice to use PP or not, that should remain in the hand of the app user. Though, making available inho is less of a choice for an app dev, to reach the largest possible audience.
That said, my comment was a matter of strategy indeed, I'm in no way a particular PP supporter at all. Nope. I use it on some apps, but on some others not. Though, I've learned along the way what is IMPORTANT with PP to make it work as seamlessly as possible is COMMUNICATION. As in making them AWARE before hit, for example, to make a story short.
