@scooke Hi i'm Benoit the Medias-Cite and Osinum manager. We sell a service with Cloudron in its core. our customers are ok with that and they know it's Cloudron behind but they don't care about it because they don't want to have to deal with the server side (and they want a server in France). It's the same thing when developing services based on Wordpress, the client wants a site that works under Wordpress but does not want to have to do it himself because he does not necessarily have the time or the inclination to do it himself.
We support our customers with others services addons to our offers (Example : we deploy BBB for us outside Cloudron), we are thinking about making some webinars to help them to use Nextcloud, wordpress etc... We try to sponsor some new developpments in Cloudron (internationalization), and new packaging of apps (Dolibarr for the moment, with @eric a Dolibarr team developer).
@girish and @nebulon know our activities, nothing is hidden. The only line we change on our website is "le logiciel libre Cloudron" because this is no longer totally true.

Conclusion, we don't sell Cloudron but services based on it. Cloudron is a master piece in our service but without humans behind it our service is dead. And by the way, Medias-Cite is a non profit organization (cooperative) and it will remain so.

It could be nice if we could archive an app and having possibility to reactivate it if we want. And it could be interesting to have a stop button to stop an app (we can do it with the CLI) when the load average is to high for example.

I tried theses features https://docs.mirotalk.com/mirotalk-p2p/host-protection/#when-host_protected-is-enabled but it seems it doesn't work : i can authenticate my adminb account and create a room but invited participants can't join without authentication, the HOST_USER_AUTH=false parameter doesn't change this. is it normal ? Thanks again !

we search a backup solution based in France for ours Cloudron backups. What do you think about C14 solution ? It seems there is an API to dialog with it. Do you think it could be integrated in Cloudron box for backups and restorations (rsync, ftp etc...) ?

Very strange, i tried again with another method. When i untar the file on my computer (ubuntu desktop) first and i send the directory with cloudron file manager and change the directory ownership, i have an error on activation and it does't work. When i send the targz file directly and extract it with the file manager and change the ownership all is ok and it works ! @girish is it normal ? Problem solved

@scooke i don't want to change the apps names. I don't want to hide logos, marks or apps websites. We want to show that open source apps are an alternative to the GAFAM apps. We want to promote open source apps. What i would like is to have the hand to edit app store apps description with more explicit words for non technical users. I don't know how it could be done on the app store and if it is possible but it would be a big + for us and our clients.
And the fact we can't translate the app store description adds some complication for our clients.

@girish could you add OVH Cloud Storage on Cloudron ? I asked them and data are stocked in France. We need a french backup solution for our clients. Do you think you can do that on the next(s) release(s) ?

I am encountering errors of the type 'You did not provide the number of bytes specified by the Content-Length HTTP header' on my Cloudron and I would like to know how to resolve them. I am using Minio and my Cloudron is up to date on Ubuntu 20.04.

Hi @girish do you think Openslides can work on Cloudron ? Any news about it ?

@nebulon how about the transfer speed? Do you also notice higher CPU or RAM usage? For a large volume of data in Nextcloud, do you think it's better than Object Storage? Thanks!

Hello, we are experiencing issues since the last Collabora update. We can no longer access Collabora from Nextcloud without having changed the configuration. I have tested on several Cloudron instances with different versions of Ubuntu and observed the same issue.

The 1.8.0 Collabora version seems to work with Nextcloud. Problem with 1.8.1.

I think it might be related to the Collabora package. Can you confirm?
