I registered my Domain name through GoDaddy but I have changed my name servers and changed all of my dns settings from my local static OP to proxy through Cloudflare already. Is that the problem? I am literally more than willing to pay someone I can trust for support. Does Cloudflare of GoDaddy offer support once you get cloudron involved?

DNS Issues with GoDaddy and Cloudflare hosted at home -
DNS Issues with GoDaddy and Cloudflare hosted at homeThis isnt my first time setting up a cloudron. I'm gonna jump in right here because I am missing something SO stupid its going to be embarrassing when you point out my mistake.
So I set up my new machine and I then I went to my GoDaddy page where the previous cloudron domain was hosted. It still had all of the old settings, (should I have deleted ALL of them before doing anything else) because I just updated the my Static IP address places my old one was... THEN I have a cloudflare plan up from my old cloudron install I logged into and it still has all of my old settings. I have Cloudflare set to "Pause". and changed the static IP addresses there too and updated my nameservers to cloudflare too then I Took the accout off "Pause"... Maybe this is all a mistake...
Here is the thing. When I type in my main domain alli get is a warning,
- This site can’t provide a secure connection
- my.co-legacy.com uses an unsupported protocol.
- ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH
- Unsupported protocol
I never get to the dashboard and I have NO idea if I am doig something out of order or if I am missing a step or if I just need to wait time but HOLY HELL I wish there was somebody I could pay for the 5 seconds it would take to fix this issue!

DNS Issues with GoDaddy and Cloudflare hosted at homeOk guys, I'm gonna jump in right her because I am missing something SO stupid its going to be embarassing when you point out my mistake.
So I Set up my new machine and I set up my new DNS Settings Just an A recorea and CNAME record using GoDaddy who happens to be my domain provider. I have a cloudflare plan up from an old cloudron install that I no longer use. I have Cloudflare set to "Pause".
Here is the thin. When I type in my main domain a website comes up, but when I add the my. website iy doesnt work, Not even a security screen page. I've accessed my modem and I have prot forwarding set up to the right machine and right ports... but no mater what I seem to try I cant seem to get to the dashboard where I can log-in to the development godaddy site to create the new key, etc... What am I missing? Totally willing to give server access to one of the cloudron owners if you thin you can help! I Really need to get this up and running asap.

Need help fixing my Cloudron install. Probable database issue.@nebulon I was trying to connect to an ecommerce site's database that is hosted on a remote server. My Cloudron is hosted on a computer in my office which I have Metabase running on. I couldnt get it to connect so just to experiment I downloaded the sql database from the remote server. Then I installed mysql workbench onto the computer in my office that is running cloudron. Uploaded the database and got it working in mysql workbench but in the process I broke my Cloudron install.
Now when I go to my Cloudron domain I only get the white screen with the red banner at the top saying "Cloudron is offline. Reconnecting..."

Need help fixing my Cloudron install. Probable database issue.@joseph Thanks for your response. So I ran the systemctl status mysql command and everything is operational and running. Then I ran mysql -uroot -ppassword box -e "show tables" and I get: mysql: [Warning] Using a password on the command line interface can be insecure.
ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES) -
Need help fixing my Cloudron install. Probable database issue. So first just a quick background. I had been trying to connect a database from a site hosted on a remote VPS but after several attempts and failures, I couldnt successfully create a connection to Metabase in Cloudron.
So finally I just decided to try to install MySQL workbench so I could upload my remote database locally on the machine I have my Cloudron installed on.
I was following ChatGPT to walk me through the setup but I think in the process it screwed up my main database used by Cloudron. What is the best way to fix this issue? Can I just fix this in a few steps or am I going to have to completely reinstall the whole system from a backup?
Is this the type of thing I can provide the support team ssh access somehow so they can troubleshoot and fix it? I don’t have a huge amount of time to spend trying to figure this out. Especially if somebody has had a similar issue and knows how to solve it quickly.
Interested in any feedback I can get. Thank you all very much!

Need help resolving Error with Monero Node in Cloudron.Don't judge me.
I am very new to all of this and I am just trying to make sense out of what I've seen in a few videos. Anyways, I think you can see my docker file here? My docker account is: jacobmatrktippetts/monero-node

Cant login to my cloudron.Working on a few things last night when the machine suddenly shut itself down. I changed where I wanted the machine to store backups, so maybe it overloaded or I set something up incorrectly?
I have also trying to build my own Monero app using docker hub, etc but haven't seemed to have any luck getting those to work either. They may also be causing something to panic and shut down.
When I login through terminal using cloudron login my.co-legacy.com it returns connect ECONNREFUSED followed by my IP address. When I try to log on through my browser it wont work that way either. Any tips?

Need help resolving Error with Monero Node in Cloudron.Tried to custom package a Monero GUI wallet today but at the final steps I ran into an issue. When I try to start my new app I get the error "An error occurred during the install operation: Task Error: Task 8013 crashed with code 1" I'm hoping this is an easy fix. Maybe I'm just missing something small and easily fixed. I'm pretty much a noob and spent most of the day getting things this far. Truly any help or words of advice will be greatly appreciated.
And if someone with experience knows how to quickly set up a Monero node that would be safer or better than the one I've created I am more than happy to pay someone for their knowledge.

BTCpayserver@nostrdev-com I would be happy to add another 100 euros (in btc) to the bounty. Over the long run it will be cheaper than the VPS I’m currently hosting my BTCPar Server on.

BTCpayserverHas any progress been made on getting BTCPay Server set up as a Cloudron App?

Question setting up emailI figured out my issue. Turns out that even though I read the documentation I made one critical mistake right at the beginning. I had to create my email accounts and the addresses I wanted to work in Cloudron first. Then Install the Snappy mail client and set up the email accounts there second.
Once I deleted the Snappy mail client and reinstalled it everything worked. I'm not sure how but this topic can be marked as resolved.

Question setting up email@girish Thanks for the reply. There is an MX record in the DNS settings of the different domain name that does point to my main cloudron instance. It looks like there are also two other MX records as well. This other domain has website hosting at its primary A name so it looks like there is an mx record that points to the server the website is hosted on and there also appears to be an MX record that points to a "Free" year of microsoft outlook that GoDaddy included with the domain name purchase.
When I run the tel net test I get this:
user@Work-Debian:~$ telnet my.cloudron.xyz 25
Trying XX.XXX.XXX.XX...
Connected to my.cloudron.xyz.
Escape character is '^]'.
220 my.cloudron.xyz ESMTP Haraka/2.8.28 ready -
Question setting up emailSo I have been working on setting up email addresses on my Cloudron. I have my accounts set up... all green arrows showing in email settings... but I'm not receiving emails and the error I get when the emails are returned says:
Host or domain name not found. Name service error for name=my.cloudron.domain type=A: Host not found
I am setting up email addresses that use a different domain name than my Cloudron home domain.
Do I need to add a DNS record of some kind in the DNS settings of my primary Cloudron domain name? And if so would I add the same for each custom domain name I want to use to send and receive email from?
I apologize for my ignorance, this is probably really basic but my mind is numb right now.

Its ugly but I want it...So I love Cloudron but I really wish it had a good solution for accounting. Does anybody know if and how it would be possible for me to add gnucash to my instance of cloudron? Its not sexy to look at, but when it comes to getting the job done it has a lot more features than almost any other self hosted accounting solution I've been able to find.

Akaunting?@humptydumpty I guess that was the thread I was hoping for an update on. Looks like there have been a few times when the App was being worked on for Cloudron but then it just seems to drop off. Are there any plans to bring Akaunting into the app store any time soon? Looks like there is a "git" page on this but I'm not smart enough to do anything with that.
-
Akaunting?Have there been any updates on Akaunting? Looking through the forum it looks like there has been lots of discussion but it's never been added to the app list. Seems like a fully featured accounting app would be used by people trying to keep their finances off the QuickBooks Online servers! Firefly III is good for some basic stuff but it's definitely not able to handle small business accounting.

Question about my setup@girish So I disabled the port forward rule in my router and it resolved the issue. Thank you!
-
Question about my setup@girish Those are all very good questions... I just logged in to the synology router and it is showing a fort forward rule to port 8001 for some reason. I'll try deleting that rule and let you know if it breaks anything.

Question about my setup@humptydumpty Good questions, I am hosting my Cloudron on my own dedicated computer at my business. It is a commercial building but I do have a dynamic IP. We are currently using a Synology router so the Cloudron is attached to that. I know that we always type a port number to get to our NAS, and the Cloudron acts in the same way... Is there a way to set it up so I dont need to have the port attached to the domain name to get to the cloudron machine?
