@joseph No I have not set it to maintenance mode and I have not plugin installed. Just right now I received update notification in Nextcloud I updated it and it worked flawlessly. But this time not mounted nfs volume, it was kept to default. @BrutalBirdie I can confirm 100% that it is working without any problems and updating well when not using nfs volume mount. Next time I will mount nfs volume and check.

@jdaviescoates said in How to Import / synchronize a group of Cloudron's users to Nextcloud ?: @andreasdueren said in How to Import / synchronize a group of Cloudron's users to Nextcloud ?: @osobo Pretty sure that's hardcoded. But you can simply bypass the screen by running occ config:app:set --value=0 user_oidc allow_multiple_user_backends in the terminal I was wondering exactly what that'd do and so I gave it a go... In short: If you're logged into your Cloudron in the same browser session -> completely bypasses the need to login and you just arrive into Nextcloud - great! If you're not logged into your Cloudron you end up at a Cloudron login screen a bit like this: [image: 1744729329602-5be9d6a4-bd94-4517-afb8-2fba4c9cce5c-image.png] One downside: preview links in Signal/ WhatsApp etc become OpenID Connect Error : [image: 1745351200591-23f4db5b-f90e-43ab-a17e-5dd71f400ae6-image.png]

Those settings migrated to 'User directory', for anyone wondering how to setup OpenID on Cloudron for external use. And yeah - I've been searching in the docs first.

@Neiluj In our experience with the Cloudron platform, a single instance is not suitable for such a large user base for a particular app. Nextcloud itself is a beast. So many different use cases. So many so-called apps. With third party apps with specific purposes. And potential TB of data to backup. If your use case has different branch offices with up to, say, 50 users, Nextcloud on Cloudron with Nextcloud federation and one Cloudron instance per branch office... that seems doable. If you need a central Nextcloud instance with all functions that only scale upwards, choose a dedicated Nextcloud instance with support from Nextcloud partners. Otherwise: One of our customers has a use case where Nextcloud on Cloudron with up to 400 users is not a problem. But this is a special use case with users who do not use Nextcloud with all its functions. So my answer is: It depends.

Just updated the last working version to the newest package. Everything is fine. I guess the cause was the strange group provisioning confusion I caused. Smooth ride so far.

@jdaviescoates Yep, I read about it and it made sense. Problem was that I could not even get to the NC OIDC app config due to missing admin rights. thankfully the occ command made the native admin group reappear. From a logical point of view provisioning admin rights to a certain OICD group should be an option. This could be a field in the OIDC plugin where we could define a group name that is treated as admin and grants native NC admin rights to users within.

I am able to solve it by keeping no values (blank) in manager option for my admin account.

Aha! I guess I should've actually looked into my Nextcloud logs before Just had a look and saw a load of errors with this: "userAgent":"Evolution/3.52.3" - that's not a phone, that's my laptop! I've just deleted and re-added my Nextcloud account via Ubuntu's Online Accounts (had to create an app password for it). Hopefully that'll finally be the end of this nonsense!

@jdaviescoates Everywhere, basically. Would it be possible to setup Nextcloud so that people could inhabit and use it without ever seeing each other's emails? If you are on a nextcloud and you look at the Users list, even as a regular user, you will probably see everybody's email listed there. There might be some environments where you would not wish participants to have their emails disclosed to the rest of the nextcloud.

@thibault after you gave the memory, you have to initiate a restore from the latest backup. Not clear from your message, if you did that.

FWIW I'm using this Featured OnlyOffice app to connect to the Cloudron OnlyOffice app. https://apps.nextcloud.com/apps/onlyoffice https://github.com/ONLYOFFICE/onlyoffice-nextcloud I'm not sure what the purpose of the document server app is but it has very low ratings so I'm not surprised it's caused issues: https://apps.nextcloud.com/apps/documentserver_community https://github.com/nextcloud/documentserver_community
