It seems like this would be good for people who had a workflow where they downloaded websites in a single file. I think I read you could just point this to the directory and it would ingest them.

Just posting to get it on people's radar, it is in early beta.

just an fyi, it looks like they are rolling out some AI integreations with the book reader. No idea what api etc, but thought that was interesting, Did not see anything more on it other than a mention on the webpage, with a video demo with the selection of text from a book, and then clicking to a ai chat with "explain like I'm 5"

very cool. I like splitwise and like the idea of selfhosting this kind of info. No idea how it compares to what else is pout there.

UPDATE: I got typesensu-ui to work easily in Surfer, just edit the js/typesense-api.js file to match your typesense-server.ini (make sure enable-cors = true is set). The demo data is useful to see it work and it's FAST.

Maybe SPAs could be deployed in Surfer instances or as custom apps, provided you teach it how to package them, and we have an easy installer for that now.
