I used rm -r -f /path/ to delete the darkmode folder in the following places:
/app/code/Modules/DarkMode
/app/data/public-modules
Then, installed and activated the Dark Mode module and it worked!

Can you try sending test mail ? That will eliminate whether this is something in the mail server/mail relay or FreeScout issue. As @subven suggested, you should try disabling all the modules and test things as well. The FS in the subject presumably means FreeScout.
I see, that sucks. Thanks for the quick responses! I did purchase add-on modules for customization, widgets and others (For FreeScout). So far I'm liking the cloudron platform.
