Have a Cloudron instance as an LDAP provider?

I see the use of external services for this - but am I missing something obvious on how to use a Cloudron instance itself as a service to other things?
My specific first need for this would be for managing Unify users, eg:

@marcusquinn you can take a look at how any App that uses LDAP is configured to use it.
If it's external to the server, that's a more difficult thing as it's only enabled for internal private networks.

@robi Yeah, that's where I started. The question is for external service connections.
The only alternative I can think is subscribing to one of those external services. Anyone tried and recommend any of these options?
Still seems like if we have LDAP for local apps, it shouldn't be a big leap to use that for remote apps too?

@marcusquinn I'm using Univention Corporate Server instances for different "Cloudron cluster installations". One UCS per customer and a bunch full of Cloudrons "around" UCS. Every Cloudron uses UCS as the central user management. UCS works on a cheap VPS (around 5$) and you are able to enable the self register portal.
The only "pain" is to find a hosting provider where you can upload the installation image.https://www.univention.com/downloads/download-ucs/

@marcusquinn I marked this one as locked, but let me ask you some questions in the other thread.
