umbrelOS is a personal Bitcoin node with an app store for running Lightning Network channels, connecting with hardware wallets, and even running your own Bitpay server, all through TOR. It's got a smooth and simple interface and makes running a node accessible to a more average person (as average as a person can be to want to run their own node, at least).

I run this on a raspberry pi at home, but it would be neat to be able to run this on Cloudron so I could also have Nextcloud and other apps going at the same time.

I believe it runs as a docker image so maybe this can already be done by someone more knowledgeable than me--but a one-click install would be super cool. I don't know if it's App store might conflict like Nextcloud plugins would.

Yes please! I need help installing forks of certain apps as custom cloudron apps. I have the skillset to figure it out eventually, just not the time.

Because of that, i would love to throw someone a little money to help get me started.

@BrutalBirdie Hey, thanks, yes I've read this several times. Believe it or not it's still a step beyond some of us that have never used docker. I appreciate you simplifying it, and I'll give it a shot based on your explanation (thanks!) but the reality is that it still doesn't change the need for freelancers.

Your explanation lacks details for the cloudron manifest json. What's the reason for that?

As well, most apps are not as simple as cloning a repo and voilà. In the case of a Mastodon fork, as my example, I have to first install the required dependencies, set up the db, etc and then fork halfway through the installation process. It suddenly becomes a lot less simple.

Well I feel stupid but I was using https://localhost:3000 instead of http://localhost:3000 in my .env file (on cloudron) and then it started working.

May or may not have been a problem if I'd skipped that step and just put it in in the authorized header parameter on n8n

Hi all!

A few years back I worked with a non-profit to develop this platform for connecting a global community of the folks I had made videos with around the world. My attention for the project unfortunately fizzled away after we had a good start and a functioning MVP.

It's made with Laravel, using OpenStreetMap.

I always believed there was a lot of cool potential with this interface (and it could also be cool on Cloudron), so the last thing we did in early 2021 was create was an installer for self-hosting.

It's been inactive until today, when I finally managed to put the public repo on Github.

As I am not a dev and there is no budget, I'd like to start putting the project out there to the FOSS community to start enhancing the repo so people can actually use it.

So this is my first stop. I'm looking for support or leads for spreading the word and making a plan to make it a "proper" FOSS project.

Anything you may have to offer an amateur is much appreciated. I've made a basic readme with a few ideas for a roadmap, but that's so far all I've got.

@rmdes OK that seems to have solved it! It wasn't clear to me that there was both the config file AND the tarball located on the server.

And yeah, this new cloudron is connected to S3. the last one was more of a test... I just happened to like what I came up with and didn't feel like doing it all over again

I figured it out... instead of using the Domain > Sending > API Key (on Mailgun), use the Account > Private API Key.

Working fine now

@subven my organization has been working on an OSS tool that we will also be offering to host as a service as soon as its ready. This would be something that would be convenient to have on cloudron. Definitely going to reach out to the help wanted section, didn't realize it existed.

Update: Tried the Moodle backup restore on the new cloudron for the 7th time and it's suddenly all running smoothly, all admin users can access without issue.

Installation goes fine, but can't see other participants who join the chat. Have tried installing a few times now, same situation.

This happens on both ends--neither party can see one another but can see themselves fine.

Recording myself and other features all seem to work just fine.

I don't see any errors in the Logs

EDIT: just to be clear, it's the p2p version.

The integrations on Zapier.com seem to be Cal.com only, not any self-hosted options.

It seems like it should be possible, as on set-up it asks for "invite_link" when I toggle on the Zapier integration... but no idea how to generate that.

@jdaviescoates interesting, I just installed this fresh yesterday from DO. Perhaps they haven't updated the marketplace image yet...

I followed these instructions from Cal.com to get Stripe all set up for Cal.com self-hosted.

But I'm still getting this error message after restarting the app on cloudron several times. What am I missing?

Update: upgraded to 7.7 and yes, now I see both.

SFU works fine, as far as I can tell.

Still no luck with p2p
