Hi, I just wanted to follow up on this. We found the relating issue in this case which resulted in several different problems. In that case, it was bug in a firmware update on a firewall and not related to Cloudron and can be marked as resolved. Thank you anyway for your help.

@opensourced thanks for confirming! We are rolling out that package slowly.

The remount does not happen automatically, but the backup logic checks first if the mount is active before starting to copy files.

The full solution is :

First run (as-is): mysql -uroot -ppassword box -e "delete from blobs where id='sftp_private_key' OR id='sftp_public_key'" Then, /home/yellowtent/box/setup/start.sh to complete the migrations Then, systemctl restart box

@dsp76 the migration is no different from any other app. For WP, I didn't find any plugins that specifically migrate only the database and the plugins alone. The managed WP app does not allow changing the WP code itself. This is the reason the guides focus on WordPress Developer - most of the migration plugins just tarball the entire WP source.

Generally, https://docs.cloudron.io/guides/migrate-wordpress/#migration-without-a-plugin should work though (as long as you have no changes to WP code).

@opensourced that warning comes from bundler and it can be ignored (it's not an error).

Are you able to see the issue on git.cloudron.io ?

@girish I actually managed to get this running. The lower end of the section in the docs did the trick.

fyi Wordfence is not crappy (imho everyone running WordPress should install it) and would easily sort this for you

@opensourced you can update to 7.3.2 which has the fix for this. Settings -> Check For Updates. It will say Unstable but it should be stable (there are a few bugs outstanding but nothing major).

in addition to what @micmc said, Wordfence can detect any changes to the Wordpress core files and email you with any security warnings that come up in the scheduled scans.

@nebulon the oposite is the case. for now i only allowed udp on port 10000.

@girish Basically these are php files that make use of db variables and properties defined in the GUI. However, to make (in my opinion essential) customizations, I need to edit these templates. These changes however are mostly to optimize the user experience.

For me they dont need to be editable during runtime. If i could make the changes persist in recovery mode and the restart the app with the adapted files in readonly, that would be perfect.

There is a field in Configuration > Modules/Applications > Members > Email .

@opensourced I tried this on Android.

I thought registering the server in the initial setup screen made things work but it didn't. What I had to do was:

Administration -> Connectivity Services . On top right, click Cloud console:

Then, I registered a new account there with my email. Verified the email. I then created a selfhosted instances to got a "token" which I had to put in the UI above.

After that, I Administration -> Push and clicked on Send a test push to my user . That did not work.

Restarted the app

Administration -> Push and clicked on Send a test push to my user . That worked. I got This is a push test message notification.

I am working on get my FreeNAS NFS mount working for the backups, but that seems to be a bit difficult to get the permissions working.

If you have experience with NFS, you might have an answer on my problem here...

Hello!

Is it possible, that you describe your way of connecting Cloudron with Truenas?

I'm using Cloudron on a VPS. In addition, I'm using TrueNAS at home. I want to use TrueNAS as backup space for Cloudron. Like you, I was thinking about NFS.

I'm wondering, if this connection is transport encrypted. Which port have you set in your firewall or are you using VPN? What user information have you set in TrueNAS?

I have experimented with Syncthing, to send my backups to Truenas. This works mostly fine. However, after a few days, I'm getting problems with permissions.
