When I use "Terminal" to upload in tmp folder popup has a data indicator showing how much data is uploaded.

This information can be useful also in "File Manager" uploader, that now is missing that info.

@marcusquinn @d19dotca @girish @nebulon Dear All, many thank's for answer. As I saw in the folders, Iphone has two kind of sent message folders:

• Sent Message
• Sent

So as @d19dotca and @marcusquinn stated, on Thunderbird emails was saved in "Sent", but on iphone in "Sent Messages".

When I configured emails who was on Cpanel iphone saved emails in "Sent". But when I configured email from Cloudron, iphone saved email in Sent Messages.

Thant's why it was like I had missing email from Thunderbird and vice versa.

Workaround is to configure the same folder and when adding Cloudron email on iphone, be sure to follow @d19dotca instruction.

My idea is to allocate two-three IP from some VPS, even If I don't need, and keep for future use to "clean" their IP's.

@brutalbirdie Dear, again: really appreciate very much your effort and time you spent to fix a problem so I can move forward. I hope in future I can reciprocate with you or with the community.

Thank's also to showing me a method that I can use to improve for my future search and go deeper inside problem fixing, but also to know better Cloudron platform.

I think this community is one of main important assets of Cloudron. Also for this, after one year testing, I decided to move everything to this platform, abandoning platform like Cpanel, Plesk, Virtualmin.

Of course, nothing is perfect but we are here together to improve this.

@rahim I think best solution is to do this process via command line. Is clean, safe and you can upload any DB size.

Of course, each installation have specific way to follow, depends on specific case.

Eg. if origin domain is the same or different to destination domain.

Also, If both, source and destination, are live. In this case, you've to approach the DNS A field to validate domain on Cloudron.

This below is my procedure, assuming that source and destination have the same domain name and that domain is live.

From the source server you need to export:

• mysql.dump
• wp-content folder

Then you've to create a new instance on Cloudron called "swap". Eg. swap.mydomain.com.

You upload mysql dump to /tmp/ via terminal, and then you import sql DB using command line (you can find info here).

Then you have to upload "wp-content" folder. You can do via FTP or also via Cloudron File Manager. You can upload zip archive and then unzip inside main wp folder.

When you have swap.mydomain.com working, you can use the function app "Backups", using "Clone" on the main domain.

Just before cloning, you have to change A fields in DNS panel, so Cloudron can validate new domain. (You can skip this step if your domain is configured with DNS provider (Eg. Cloudflare or others listed).

Should be useful to use a single license on multiple servers. This for a good load balancing or separate/isolate personal app from public apps/other apps.

@lucidfox I had same problem too with Wasabi, 26th of February. In January I switched to Wasabi to achieve better performances, reliability and stability (see below) and also for cheaper prices.

Last week I had the surprise: billed 30$ instead 5$ for 1TB because of their policy.

Yes, I had read their policy before, but you cannot know before how data upload and deletion will impact depending of Cloudron scheduled backups.

So I came back to old solution: Hetzner Storage Box and CIFS mounting.

Last January I switched to Wasabi because CIFS mounting had some unwanted unmouting problems. But now mounting points seems to be persistent and problem seems to be fixed.

About strategy, I suggest to purchase a Hetzner Box or a EX server (Eg. EX42) where you can install Cloudron+Minio.

In fact, I opened port 53 TCP and UDP and Cloudron can resolve domain names.

@stormgrass You have to go to wp-config.php and enable DEBUG mode to understand if plugin or theme is blocking.

Insinde wp-confing.php you will find:

define( 'WP_DEBUG', false );

change to

define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );
define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', false );
define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', true );

And you will see on the screen what is blocking your Wordpress instance.

You should understand that not everyone here is a developer. Is only a simple user. Also with Linux command line, not everyone here is expert like you.

That's why I'm a Cloudron customer: to make life easier.

So I totally reject your starting answer: I'm not here to take lessons of netiquette.

I learned "on the ground" that installing a Worpdress instance or a LAMP instance, you can find credential in "credential.txt"...

With printenv | grep -i CLOUDRON_MAIL I solved my question so I can move forward.

@mattcazz Wordpress package have to be updated manually because different plugins or themes may conflict with that version.

With manually update, in case website will stop working, you can debug and understand what is the problem.

In my case, all was fine, unless some old themes that were not compatible with new package. In those cases, I had to enable DEBUG mode in wp-config.php and understand what to fix (eg. some manually editing in child themes cleaning part of code).

@marcusquinn In fact, I created another account on Cloudron with "user" privileges, then I created an app-specific password for Tiny Tiny and I'll put there all "leisure" feeds so I can keep separate from others.

Also, thank's a lot for suggestion: WebCatalog seems to resolve different steps to login-in, out form platforms. I'll check!

I tried to install by myself on a fresh server but it's a little complicated for me.

I think this app could help a lot of people, specially those tired of the overwhelming power of Typeform.

@girish My initial question was related to fact that per app password follow the same dynamic of SFTP. Each SFTP have ability to have his own password, so I was sure also each email have his own password.

I think this part can be improved. Eg, giving ability to use single specific password each mailbox. This is useful also to improve security. In fact, if someone spoof password eg. on public wifi on single email, he can access also all other emails.

@d19dotca Ok I think also service is blazing fast and move giga of data in very small time, effortless. Also, another good feature that they added, ability to sync both email later the first sync. This is useful to align two accounts while DNS are propagating.
