@jeau Oh I know the people who started it. The ocap features are what really attracted me to it, but once installed it was a big turnoff and disappointment. After that I found Cloudron and never looked back. What features do you find most interesting and usable? This also bring up a few other thoughts, such as going through their app store and seeing what is useful to bring here. (Neos.io?) Another thought is to make Sandstorm available as a container App within Cloudron. There is also opportunity to learn from their architecture and implementation and enhance our own. (Borgify) Some interesting things on their Github too: https://github.com/sandstorm/

@nebulon yeah, I left it in the description, but tried to focus on the app itself.. went back an forth on it, and this seemed like a starting compromise. I think the app is better with Surfer than without IMO. Happy to have it more obvious where you want to.

@jdaviescoates I guess I see active time-recording as unnecessary admin and distracting to have time as a metric on productivity. I use these things to analyse what teams use, how much time they spend on things that we could save them from. I started work as a team of 4, peaked at about 60 and now we've found a natural equilibrium at 34. What I learned from all that was anything above those initial single-figure days is impossible to fully understand at scale, but with the broader overview we can make better decisions. Simple example being when to migrate an app, we can drill in, see if it's being used much and when, and time maintenance all without asking anyone anything.

@necrevistonnezr @mehdi Haha, innuendo bingo! Only a matter of time before Only Fans stars start using Cloudron to avoid de-platforming issues and cut-out the middle-men.

@yusf I knew I'd seen some others so I went looking. I didn't find what I was looking for, but found these which look OK: https://www.classroombookings.com/ https://en.freetobook.com/index https://github.com/webkul/hotelcommerce

I've seen this as well - but doesn't it make more sense to run that on the server itself, rather than as an app? The latter will only do penetration tests on the docker container...?

Okay, this is very intriguing to me. Lots to unpack and understand about how it actually operates to see if it's a good fit for the Cloudron platform, but I also appreciate the find in general either way!

@marcusquinn blog2social looks great. I'd quite like to play with Known too, to feed my (not self-hosted) mastodon and twitter from a single self-hosted source.

Shame it doesn't seem to have tags. I'd really like to find a new self-hosted home for my Flickr account, but I want people to be able to navigate/ browse using the same tags that I'm using on Flickr. Seems like my best bet is to hold for a stable release of PhotoPrism.
