"Backup failed" email notification
-
Dear all,
is it possible to add to Cloudron email notification when "Backup failed"?
Backup is a mission-critical task, so it could be better to add also an email notification.
Thank's a lot

@p44 it's there. it only gets triggered if 3 backups fail in a row. But yeah, we can improve this.

Quick related question: is there a list of Cloudron email notifications and their triggers somewhere?
I know of the Events/Webhooks/API possibilities and I have heard of (potential/future) other email notifications, but I am not clear on what email notifications a Cloudron server generates at present times.
Also I suppose it only works so long as outbound email is properly setup on the related Cloudron server.
I suppose what I am asking is where can I find more information about Email notification related to a Cloudron Server?I could not find any specific info about email notifications in Cloudron docs. Hopefully I have not missed something otherwise apologies in advance.

BTW could be useful to reduce value to 1 or let user chose.

Yes, I know that failed backup notifications are already raised in the dashboard, but that requires me to go and look there. I have a mission-critical app that should update every day and I literally had the case that while I was on vacation, it failed one day. Nothing happened, it backed up the next day, but I simply didn't look into the dashboard that day like usually.
That's where the feature request is coming from.

Hetzner storage box mounted as backup is not persistent.
True that.
It is an easy fix though. I just remount it and run the backup again. Everything goes fine.Question is: Can this be automated after x number of backup failures?
That is, if backup fails x number of times, check mounting status and if not mounted, remount and retry backup again?
Thanks!
