We did an automated assessment of how well Huginn lends itself to packaging and maintenance in Cloudron (pretty well!) https://wanderingmonster.dev/blog/monster-manual-huginn/ https://enjoys.rocks/?87005dda9d2368ec#3FAGaggruF1FRvmYmXhB4DKyxfN9MpL4x9xv7x5XGEG1

We did an automated assessment of how challenging it would be to package and maintain AppFlowy on Cloudron. (TL/DR - too difficult!) https://wanderingmonster.dev/blog/monster-manual-appflowy/ https://enjoys.rocks/?002e80d922a9a859#DRKfRQGgaJRWUQG7HR1rREtQW3Bo7kf5RxkKLg7vg2T8

We ran an automated assessment of how difficult it would be to package and then maintain Prosody as an application on Cloudron. The assessment is here (TL/DR - it would be a lot more feasible than Ejabberd): https://wanderingmonster.dev/blog/monster-manual-prosody/ https://enjoys.rocks/?8957edc0c6a1b7fa#DdSoHsPAZQwxnUHuNVfiQcdFd6soCFf8XLRogrXTNpgy

We created an experimental tool to assess whether an application is worth a packaging attempt for Cloudron. Here is the report for ejabberd. (TL/DR - don't attempt it until eg Cloudron supports raw TCP passthrough. https://wanderingmonster.dev/blog/monster-manual-ejabberd/ https://enjoys.rocks/?19b53d80739dfd33#BU1rYEiegFVDCNCYkxi74WFFDw1qnPooLjahZUxLzKLv

Yes, if there is broad community interest in the app, we will work with the community app packager and try to get it into the App Store. In the meantime, community apps are a great way to have a package that you have a need for available and tested by others.

Thanks! @girish If this problem cannot be solved with a non deterministic solution (LLM) then maybe AI/LLM is not a fit (assuming it is used here?)

Device Authorization Flow is implemented in 9.1.4 (will be released shortly). With this, it won't require cors/callback.

To note: there is now a Unifi OS, superseeding the Unifi Network Application. Please see here: https://ui.com/download/software/unifi-os-server https://help.ui.com/hc/en-us/articles/34210126298775-Self-Hosting-UniFi The OS server version includes Network, Identity, and InnerSpace. Protection is not yet in there but I guess it will join sometime in the future. I went through this rabbit hole because I was annoyed at UNA having buttons leading to nowhere for the past few versions. This did not give me the best feeling about the status of UNA as a standalone application, so I made the jump and converted to UOS. So far, no complaints and... buttons work. While there is nothing official docker-wise as far as I can tell, there have been quite a few successful docker/container implementations.

@neoplex great stuff. Consider publishing a CloudronVersions.json - https://docs.cloudron.io/packaging/publishing . That will help people easily install the app.

My storage is limited, so I keep fewer backups. I almost always click "Skip Backup" since I prefer manually backing things up. Since so much is manual, I tend to lose track of which might have been backed up recently. So, then I need to click on the Backups, wait for that to load, see when the most recent one was and if it's worth skipping the backup again or if I need to back up. If I need to back up, I actually also almost always do that separate from the Update process. Why? In the past it sometimes times out, or fails, or just something goes wonky. Is it my system? Maybe? But this is what I'm working with. After that back up I then need to click on Updates and finally update. So, it would save me some time to hover over Backups and see when the most recent one is.

[1.14.8] Update pocketbase to 0.36.7 Full Changelog Fixed high memory usage with large file uploads (#7572). Updated the rate limiter reset rules to follow a more traditional fixed window strategy (aka. to be more close to how it is presented in the UI - allow max X user requests under Ys) since several users complained that the older algorithm was not intuitive and not suitable for large intervals. Approximated sliding window strategy was also suggested as a better compromise option to help minimize traffic spikes right after reset but the additional tracking could introduce some overhead and for now it is left aside until we have more tests. Updated modernc.org/sqlite to v1.46.2 and SQLite 3.51.3. SQLite 3.51.3 fixed a database corruption bug that is very unlikely to happen (with PocketBase even more so because we queue on app level all writes and explicit transactions through a single db connection), but still it is advised to upgrade.* Updated other minor Go and npm deps. The min Go version in the go.mod of the package was also bumped to Go 1.25.0 because some of the newer dep versions require it.*

[1.22.2] Update ntfy to 2.19.2 Full Changelog This is another small bugfix release for PostgreSQL, avoiding races between primary and read replica, as well as to further reduce primary load. Bug fixes + maintenance: Fix race condition in web push subscription causing FK constraint violation when concurrent requests hit the same endpoint Route authorization query to read-only database replica to reduce primary database load
