I just tried accessing your domain my.miritz.bio but got a
refused to connect
error.
Also I can see that you only have anA
records and noAAAA
record:dig A my.miritz.bio +short 213.232.235.195 dig AAAA my.miritz.bio +short
And your PTR is:
dig -x 213.232.235.195 +short miritz.bio.
But I can't verify the
AAAA
PTR Record.Using the bare domain as the mail server domain can lead to many issues like DNS propagation times.
But your choice. At least the IMCP Ping is working:
ping my.miritz.bio PING my.miritz.bio (213.232.235.195) 56(84) bytes of data. 64 bytes from miritz.bio (213.232.235.195): icmp_seq=1 ttl=119 time=78.7 ms
Also I just run
nmap -T Aggressive -A 213.232.235.195
also the following might be false but:nmap -T Aggressive -A 213.232.235.195 Starting Nmap 7.95 ( https://nmap.org ) at 2025-03-26 09:20 W. Windows?
Maybe a Windows Virtualized Setup?
Your posted putty screenshots connecting to
root@host
are you really using a VPS and not a home server setup? You were requested several times, by several different people to provide the mail service logs which you did not provide.

Not only requested, but descriptions and screenshots of exactly where to find those logs provided too.

@BrutalBirdie I told you that i have been trying to trouble shoot this myself. I have not left these domains untocuhed and i have been looking for a way to go about the whole situation.
However, I have replaced and changed IP's different times on my request to be sure that the problem is not coming from my side. That is called troubleshooting.
i will however re-install this server and see what will happen after this. I will keep you posted then we can work on the new IP.

It would help if you would actually read and acted on all helpful responses myself and others have provided.
We have already given you descriptions and screenshots of exactly where to find mail logs, but you still haven't shared them, and worse you come back asking for the exact instructions again as if we haven't already provided them.
Sorry, but I agree with @scooke: you are completely wasting everyone's time. Including your own.

@scooke i actually do not know your motive. i created this thread and i never pointed out to you had any direct question with you. I see you are seeking relevance. Please go out off my thread as i have serious people to engage with.
I will not answer you or respond to you anymore

Please do not take this negatively.
This proves that you are not reading or understanding the responses people write here.
He posted it here: https://forum.cloudron.io/post/104300 and you were not even able to scroll up and read but ask for the link.Is there maybe a language barrier? I had other topics where we had to switch to french to resolve the issue efficiently.
If that is the case, please let us know. -
