@dylightful there is a bug when setting up Linode Object Storage (it's already fixed in next release). For now, you have to choose S3 compatibly Storage in the Storage provider combo box and input the values. It's the same thing internally, the Linode Object Storage is merely a convenience that fills out some fields like the endpoints.

@dylightful Feel free to add to that thread.

As you might imagine Cloudron is relatively full service hence an integration would be needed with the platform which is a bit of an engineering endeavor along with all the other things @staff work on such as app updates, continuous platform improvement and support issues here on the forum and email.

If you understand the platform and the app, there is no issue using it knowing they won't interfere with each other, but keep in mind the self-support required.

Such has happened with Netdata as well.

If you wish, write a guide and support others interested in it too.

Don't have experience with BitNinja but Cloudflare is used quite commonly for this.

Part of the issue was that redis was getting stuck. Restarting box code fixed it - systemctl restart box. Another part of the issue is https://forum.cloudron.io/topic/9795/3-2-0-update-not-showing-up/9 . I am pushing a fix.

Agreed, this would be very useful. Would love to be able to assign specific IP addresses to specific domains.

It would also be nice to be able to disable the "You are seeing this page because the DNS record of nn.nn.nn.nnn is set to this server's IP but Cloudron has no app configured for this domain." for http requests sent directly to the server IP.

@dylightful Something definitely happened on Cloudron side and It's hurting me in full swing, I'm having a hard time to find the origin of this, it does not make any sense.

current operations at osintukraine.com are fully impacted, each of our telegram archive are now disconnected from their volume, already tried to clean start, new mounts, clean start, same problem.

Right now I'm trying to add a new sshfs volume, the target is empty, i'm still having this exact same error, I'm wondering if there isn't anything else going on here because nothing make sense.

I'm assuming once changing the lifecycle setting, an almost full reset of the bucket will be required as the 'Delete' function of Cloudron won't run correctly?

Reason I'm asking is that my understanding is you can't really split roles up between servers for the same domain. In other words, it's not really feasible to have one Cloudron server hosting the website for example.com and another Cloudron server hosting the mail for example.com. Out of interest, why would it not be feasible to split domains between hosting and email? We do this without any problems. On the servers hosting the apps either outbound mail is set to relay via the server handling email or, if the app manages its own email settings, these are set to use the SMTP on the server handling email for the domain.

I may have misunderstood but I think this post is why I was under that impression that the Cloudron domains emails should be on the same server as the apps for that same domain.

I think enabling 2fa on your Cloudron will prevent brute-forcing already and the validation REST call on the server is pretty light-weight, so I don't think adding a captcha will be of great benefit.

@dylightful if you click the 'cleanup backups' button in the Backups view, is there anything interesting in the logs?

Only issue is the constant notification that my domain isn't configurated correctly for mail.

@dylightful this may have to be fixe upstream then. Generally we have seen various issues with the Nextcloud encryption and additional addons together. I would recommend to not use the encryption with Nextcloud, since if anything goes wrong there, it is very hard or impossible to recover the data.

@mehdi Very much interested in this topic. I love my American friends, but the EU certainly isn't without capability to respond to the data-mining free-for-all antics of the last decade. I share occasional posts on Twitter on these subjects if anyone's interested.
