Shame. Seems like a mistake to me. Even a little bit of a 'thank you' helps encourage growth and word of mouth. Eg it was @jdaviescoates who introduced me, and I've told a few people. I've noticed that cloudron keeps not adding the more useful apps I'm looking for and not allowing a bounty market for those apps .. so I'm now extra-encouraged to seek out alternatives. (I'm not sure I'll find anything as stable, but .. main point: every little helps.)

It's the owners prerogative to do with the company as they will. That's fine. I just find it a little frustrating to see the unfulfilled potential.

So that I can set up a low-volume email account on a Cloudron-hosted domain, and then poll that account from Gmail (where most of my email is).

This has come up a number of times in the forums.

4 years old .. we really need a better way to get apps up on cloudron!

Is OpenVPN a replacement for NordVPN / ExpressVPN etc when used for masking location?

I think the answer is "no, because they have multiple servers, whereas openvpn will only allow you to connect to your own server." Is that right?

Just re-read this. The answer is Obsidian.

@girish correct - though they all have their nuances. Metabase is very user friendly and has more publishing options. Superset still thinks of itself primarily as an internal use only tool.

Preset.io are charging a small fortune for it.

You might like to consider a data stack, too (take that, plural.sh) and include airbyte & airflow.

This is one-shot in Claude. I imagine a trained AI might do better.
