  • Kill the Newsletter
    jaschaezraJ jaschaezra

    Hi!

at https://github.com/leafac/kill-the-newsletter is the source as well as precompiled packages for linux for Kill the Newsletter, a Tool which generates a RSS-Feed from Newsletters. You can see it here in Action: https://kill-the-newsletter.com

I would love to have it on Cloudron. Important: it needs its own MX Domain for the Domain it is running on, so there could not be a cloudron mailserver running. There is no User Authentication at the moment, I do not know if it is feasible to add an authentication.

  • flohmarkt on Cloudron - A decentral federated small advertisement platform
    jaschaezraJ jaschaezra

    • Title: flohmarkt on Cloudron - A decentral federated small advertisement platform

    • Main Page: https://codeberg.org/flohmarkt/flohmarkt
    • Git: https://codeberg.org/flohmarkt/flohmarkt
    • Licence: AGPL
    • Docker: Yes
    • Demo: https://codeberg.org/flohmarkt/flohmarkt/wiki/flohmarkt-instances

    • Summary: The name flohmarkt is a german word and translates to flea market or garage sale in english. This is a symbol for each flohmarkt being meant to be a small place for a somehow connected group of people. All the flohmarkts willing to federate make up one big place for small advertisements about exchange of goods and services.
flohmarkt as its project name is written in lower-case letters.
    • Notes: I would like to run my own flomarkt as I do not want my listings to be in the grace of some admins who can just take them down (like kleinenziegen.de o bea does if you miss something in the description)

  • Could there be a second package with Live-streaming configured?
    jaschaezraJ jaschaezra

    Hi!

    Pixelfed offers Live-streaming Capability.

You'll find the docs here: https://docs.pixelfed.org/running-pixelfed/optional-features/livestreaming/

Beside the Videostreaming of course the websocket to enable chat/reactions during a stream would be great. The Doc is here: https://docs.pixelfed.org/running-pixelfed/optional-features/websockets/

Bonus if the Webpusher could run at the same domain as the application (see: https://docs.pixelfed.org/running-pixelfed/optional-features/websockets/#same-location-for-websockets-and-web-contents)

Yip, there would be need for an nginx to do the HLS converting and provide the streaming. The nginx writes in directory the whole time so Apache could just serve this directory - see example at the bottom here: https://www.nobile-engineering.com/wordpress/index.php/2018/10/30/video-streaming-hls-apache-nginx/

I got this running on a machine with Pacht in front of nginx but I still of not ge this docker thingy thing and I had no chance to build a package.

It really would be great to have this feature. I know it will be tricky to package this but it would be soooooooo good!

  • Cloudron SPF record does not permit IP
    jaschaezraJ jaschaezra

    Hi.

I just found the following from an E-Mail I sent from my cloudron managed server to another E-Mail-Server where I own an Email account:

    Received-SPF: SoftFail (mail.jascha.wtf: domain of jascha.wtf does not designate 84.57.85.124 as permitted sender) receiver=mail.jascha.wtf; identity=mailfrom; client-ip=84.57.85.124 helo=[10.0.0.10]; envelope-from=<jascha@jascha.wtf>

The IP shown is my IP at home. I send Emails via Thunderbird. In my understanding the sending Ip should not be the IP of me at home but the one from the mailserver, right?

Did I do something wrong? Or is it a problem with the cloudron Mailserver?

  • Bug in File Manager
    jaschaezraJ jaschaezra

I have a file whose name looks like this: https%3A%2F%2Fjascha.wtf.jpg

When I upload it via File Manager, it creates a folder called https: and puts a file inside with the name jascha.wtf.jpg

    See Screenshot:
    Bildschirmfoto 2023-04-17 um 15.00.19.png

When I scp it to the machine and copy it into the folder the name is correct but the preview is missing. See Screenshot:
    Bildschirmfoto 2023-04-17 um 15.02.46.png

As the filename is valid File Manager should not interpret when uploading and create a folder and when uploaded by hand File Manager should be able to show a preview.

I assume that you decode the URL-encoded part which File Manager just should not do.

  • External source for robots.txt
    jaschaezraJ jaschaezra

    Hi!

I would love to be able to enter a git repository or an URL to a file which are pulled regularly to manage my robots.txt

It is a little bit pain to update every running app when there is a new crawler which need to be blocked. I maintain a repository for myself but need to copypaste manually into cloudron.

Bonus would be if you could merge two external files to one robots.txt

    Thanks for considering this 🙂
