@robi I guess it could but the app doesn't (maybe for privacy reasons).

What I would like to do is that if I try to login to a new WP installation with the cloudron super-administrator user, an administrator user will be automatically generated in WP with my Cloudron access data. And if I enter as a common Cloudron user in WP, a user will be generated with their Cloudron access data with the role that I configure in the ldap plugin.

In this way, if I also changed my login details in Cloudron, it would also change on all WP sites.

This would also be good with the rest of the applications. It would simplify things a lot.

This is possible?

I have tried to fix this in the latest package - https://docs.cloudron.io/apps/wordpress-developer/#email-setup-multisite . I pushed the update last week but it's been rolling out slowly. A new install (which is required for multi-site) will get the latest package.

@girish Just when I thought I understood DNS I learn about negative caching. Not sure if this was the issue, but it is possible. Thanks.

@moonmeister I think it's better to use the username for login into all apps except the email apps like roundcube/rainloop/sogo (because they require email to know which mailbox to open).

The email login was probably not a good idea to start with because the email can be changed unlike the username. These days when we bring in new apps, we don't bother much with email login.

My point of the 443 port issue was so ya'll could fix the docs. I have manually setup SRV records, that's why I thought it'd be nice to automatically set them up. Also, I meant to put this under discussion, not sure how it ended up in support. Thanks.
