You’ll find way too many horror stories if you search for Contabo on this forum. I had the nvme plan and the speeds were constantly under 500mb/s. Support was useless. Frequent network issues were common. I’ve since moved to Hetzners dedicated vcpu entry plan that costs less than half but performance is top notch. It’s hosting my public facing sites while the rest are self hosted on premise. Before you go nuts trying to fix things on Contabo, go through a migration to a new provider and see how it goes. Use dry run feature when setting up the dns so the live sites are still using Contabo for now.

Switching to hetzner feels good enough for now . Full backup takes 30min for 21 apps. I've cancelled contabo storage service. Hope this stays so snappy for the long run

@q__nt_n The VPS blocks port outbound 25. You have to reach out to contabo again and tell them that you can't connect with the above command.

Can just pass --redo to the setup script.

This is fixed in 7.3.5 (will be released next week).

@LoudLemur nice, will add the region in Cloudron UI as well. it's already there.

And for example the package on this page sounds interesting with a fair enough monthly price imho, for this "root server" an upgrade VPS package which is a mix of virtualization and dedicated hardware as 4 dedicated CPUs with 16 GB and 320GB SSD for monthly 16E, sounds to me like it could be used for a small business jitsi server, what dot you think?
