    @humptydumpty for the sake of transparency, we are now a team of 4 (including @nebulon and myself) full-time. We also have a couple helping us part-time with support. But other than that you are spot on ๐Ÿ˜„ We don't have any interest in growth for growthโ€™s sake.

    @humptydumpty I think it was a bug or something as I uninstalled the app and tried to reinstall it and it failed.

    For reference I have the Vaultwarden and Gitea installed. The 3rd app was Firefly.

    Yes, work on this is still months away. We have a bunch of things we want to fix before we do multi-host. Also, the multi-host when it happens will anyways have a different pricing structure (I don't know what that is). But as always, existing customers will always get some better pricing than what we go with (we always grandfather, never change prices on existing customers).

    There used to be a limit of domains/uses etc but we removed all limits in the previous release.

    A nice symbology system, sure, but youโ€™re capped at drive bay space.

    So unless youโ€™re able to find a 6-bay symbology system that can support 14tb drives (or larger) in each bay, that wouldnโ€™t be worth it to me.

    But at least now we are comparing apples to apples

    There are currently no plans for that, no. I think from what we have learnt, any per-app pricing misleads people into thinking that we support the apps itself.

    @bluxomat To answer your questions (and my understanding of your needs): If you have different customers on one Cloudron instance, there is no option to have a "kind of" multi-tenant user management. If you give the role "user admin" to one user of client A, she is able to see and create all users on that Cloudron instance.

    In that case it's better for all (including Cloudron the company because of more subscriptions) to install a Cloudron instance per client. If you are a "frugal fox" (never heard of this before, I had a quick translate of the german word "Sparfuchs" that means something like: If I don't have to put more money in other people's pockets, why should I?), then the only chance is to have some kind of "multi-tenant" within the user management of the apps themselves. But if your customer has more than one app on your instance, you have to repeat the creation of users in every app again and again.

    Clourdon is NOT GPL, nor even open source if I'm not mistaken, right now, even though most of the software part of the offer are. That's not a problem at all. simply because you do not absolutely need a Cloudron box to run any of the software offer which are coming with GPL. When one pays for either cPanel or Plesk the principle is the same, the prices are always PER INSTANCE, obviously, and that is even though they too offer GPL apps installation via their dashboard via Softaculous and the like.
