Ubuntu Pro & Cloudron@robi said in Ubuntu Pro & Cloudron:
@WiseMetalhead Thanks for chiming in.
however it failed as the 'pro' command doesn't exist
You need to install
ubuntu-advantage-toolsfirst, then check Ubuntu Pro with command:pro --versionhttps://discourse.ubuntu.com/t/ubuntu-pro-beta-tutorial/31018

Translators hall of fame@girish Thank you for giving me this opportunity. Cloudron is a wonderful product and deserves more publicity in the Russian community!

'Email not configured properly' Keeps Showing Up in Logs@thetomester13 I think this thread might help you.

perpetual licensingIMHO, the current active licensing model fits Cloudron better. A smaller plan with five or ten apps would be great for enthusiasts like me while a one-time purchase would just open the door for some businesses to pay once instead of subscribing — and then forget about the product entirely. If anything happens to their Cloudrons, they can just browse the forum for free help.
And I’m saying this knowing that, where I live, one year of subscription costs around one third of an average monthly salary

support "featured" nextcloud apps@perler said in support "featured" nextcloud apps:
I think as @WiseMetalhead that these featured apps are fairly stable
In fact, I've been using a fairly large set of apps (Music, Notes, Tasks, Calendar, Forms, etc.) for about a year now, but haven't experienced any problems, including major updates. But it's worth mentioning that all of this is far from a statistic, and maybe I'm just lucky

HomePageI gave it a shot and tried packaging the Homepage app myself. The thing is, I don’t have much experience with app development, so I’ve been figuring things out through trial and error (with a bit of help from GPT
).The app installs and runs fine, but I’ve noticed a couple of things I can’t seem to fix:
- During installation, the app automatically creates a
kubernetes.yamlfile in/app/data. I couldn’t find a way to prevent that. - After logging into the app’s web interface for the first time, several additional files (from the skeleton folder) are generated in
/app/data. They just sit there even if they’re not needed — for example,docker.yaml.
For reference, here’s my repo: https://vgit.lvcl.ru/vladislav/homepage-cloudron (mirror: https://github.com/WiseMetalhead/homepage-cloudron)
Maybe I’ll fix this later, maybe not — for my personal use, the app works just fine.

Accessing Nextcloud App Store following 32.0.0 update@andreasdueren said in Accessing Nextcloud App Store following 32.0.0 update:
Same issue, I think they just have server issues.
Same issue here with version 31.0.9. Definitely a problem on Nextcloud’s side.

Wrong/missing minor version for WP developer edition@guyds You need to update Wordpress from the WP dashboard separately. As far as I know, Cloudron app update acts as a notification for Developer version.

System templatesListmonk supports editing system templates. For this we must copy
/staticdirectory to an external directory and specify the path with the flag.Perhaps it makes sense to put the system templates to
/app/data/and set flag by default? -
System templates@timconsidine said in System templates:
Just starting to explore Listmonk, so interested to know whether we should be using that directory or just
/app/data/static?I think directory tree should look like this.

@girish Well, at first glance, it doesn't seem to work.
The problem resolved itself. Logo has changed after upgrading Cloudron and rebooting the server.

Running Cloudron on eMMC – How to Reduce Writes?@james said in Running Cloudron on eMMC – How to Reduce Writes?:
Can you please try to pull the image manually?
Thanks a lot for your help and suggestions. I was able to resolve my issue.
My Cloudron had AdGuard Home installed and connected to the router. Even though I set the server’s traffic to go through the provider’s DNS, I probably messed something up in the configuration.
Since AdGuard Home wasn’t working, there was no DNS resolution, and therefore no connection

After I temporarily changed the DNS on the router, everything started working fine. The Docker images are slowly restoring now.

Run s3_media_upload script@nichu42 said in Run s3_media_upload script:
Open your script, then select Edit > EOL Conversion > Unix (LF). Save, upload and try again.
It actually works. Thank you!
Strangely enough, the script was originally created using the Cloudron file manager.

App overwrites manual settings.json changes on restart@james said in App overwrites manual settings.json changes on restart:
After thorough consideration we came to the conclusion that it is simply too insecure.
Hello @james
Thanks a lot for clearing that up and for taking the time to look into it. This is a valid concern. In the end, I switched to @qbittorrent, where I was able to set up remote access through qBitController. To be honest, I didn’t notice right away that there was another torrent client in the app store besides Transmission.

Multi Language OCR SupportIs it possible to enable multi-language OCR support for paperless-ng?
As far as I understand, docker has variables for this. And I also found this modification.
-
System templates@girish Well, at first glance, it doesn't seem to work.
If you uploadlogo.pngfile to/app/data/static/public/staticdirectory, listmonk continues to display its own logo. Restarting the app does not fix the issue.
