    Does look good, even if I use only as my second choice after LibreOffice, it makes me happy to see open-source alive and kicking.

    @robi Nope, I use my cloudron-supplied Vaultwarden to generate the secret, then I copy and paste it. I save it in a Secure Note in Bitwarden. The copy-and-paste is why I feel sure it wasn't a typo. Whatever the problem, it resolved itself. I restarted the app after each change, but maybe I didn't wait long enough for the startup to finish.

    Just to conclude this here, we have published a separate app package for the enterprise version. That one requires a license to be put into the app.

    @ei8fdb yes, I can take a direct look at it, I guess I would need remote SSH support for both Cloudrons then. If you want to do that, send us a mail at support@cloudron.io with the two dashboard domains you are using.

    @sam_uk Using the 'demo' version of only office this kinda works. I get an email notifying me that it's been 'shared'.

    I'd still like to use my own OO server though.

    <Edit: My cloudron OO seems to have stopped providing the editor, I just get a blank screen when I enable it now. The demo version still works if I enable it>

    @austin I was noticing the CF API having issues yesterday, so it's likely you just had an intermittent failure. A retry would have been sufficient.

    @privsec Onlyoffice should have a similar interface to edit what can connect to it. IDK if using the mobile app is security friendly however. Test as you need, make sure it doesn't open you up to attack

    @dantheman not sure which process is crashing there, but most likely rabbitmq then. I cannot reproduce this on any Cloudron I've tried so far, so maybe if you want, you can enable remote SSH support for this Cloudron and then send a mail to support@cloudron.io with your dashboard domain, if you want us to take a direct look at this specific instance.

    @cristtiah There are two onlyoffice apps in nextcloud - https://apps.nextcloud.com/apps/documentserver_community and https://apps.nextcloud.com/apps/onlyoffice . You must install the latter! Once you install it, just configure it like https://docs.cloudron.io/apps/onlyoffice/#setup-nextcloud-connector and that should be it. No need to adjust any other settings.

    Hi @nebulon, issue happened after I updated to the latest versions few days ago (version info in a previous reply). Don't think there're any updates since. To be sure, I just checked my versions again, still the same:

    FWIW, you can try overriding the value in /app/data/Config/production-linux.json (Console -> File Browser). I think the value needs to be like

    "services": { "CoAuthoring": { "expire": { "sessionidle": "1h"

    Then just restart the app.

    @girish it's the Community Edition you'd need in order to provide their collaboration features: document management, CRM, Projects, Mail aggregator, Calendar and Wiki. They also have an optional Mail Server.

    I've just installed Community Edition on DigitalOcean; it's a great alternative to Nextcloud (their collaboration apps like CRM and Projects look really great) but the big downside for me is that there's no desktop/mobile device file sync. Everything stays in the cloud, you can only edit word, presentation and spreadsheet documents and only by using their desktop app or mobile apps, and you have to be online. You can connect a bunch of file sync services like Dropbox, Google Drive, etc via authorisation keys, which is nice, but I'm looking for an alternative to Dropbox, not more dependency.

    You can also connect Yandex Disk or Nextcloud accounts with a user and password but it seems a shame to have to run Nextcloud just for file sync. I tested this and working with files in Onlyoffice via this webdav link to a Nextcloud server is slow, the invisible system files created by macOS Finder are visible, and I keep getting an error when I trying uploading a file created on my desktop by my CAD software, with a note to say that "all documents uploaded will be converted to Office Open XML format for faster editing". Completely daft.

    This inability to sync files between computers and devices and use third-party apps to edit them is a showstopper for us. Which is a real shame because their collaboration modules look fantastic.

    Document Server + Community Server + Mail Server (optional) = Community Edition (but with the limitation of 20 simultaneous connections to doc editors)
    Document Server + Community Server + Mail Server (optional) = Enterprise Edition (limitations depend on the tariff plan)
